..question: I have been interested in parabolic reflectors for a while now. I notice you are using the vertical-bulb style parabolic hood. have you ever used the Vertizontal or AdjustaWing hoods? I am curous to see which non-air-cooled hood gives the best light spread.
I have heard that the vertical-bulb parabolics are not as good as the Vertizontal or AdjustaWing, because the vertical bulb provides less direct light to the plants underneath. Any thoughts?

ballast run cooler and live longer not in containers however if a ballast shorts out the potential 4 fire increases cause plenty of o2 and no containment i put automotive inline fuses on my ballast closely matched to their normal usage if the ballast shorts out itll blow the fuse quik just gound every thing.thatll cover overload and short circuit.gfci protection helps 2
