Production limits

My goal is to produce the most amount of hash in a 12 hour period. So I've been researching and I've deduced that dry methods produce better tasting and smelling hash due to the fact that terpenoids are water soluble and get "washed" away with water methods. But are dry methods more or less efficient in extraction and by how much?

In terms of production, the pollinator (rotating drum machine) and the washing machine conversion are the two methods that produce hash that require the least amount of effort as they are automated. Is this assumptions correct?

So my question, assuming unlimited input which method (pollinator[dry] or washing machine conversion[wet]) can process the MOST amount of input a 12 hour period? Based on that method, how MUCH input can be processed within that period per machine?

Lastly, what sort of returns can be expected from these methods?

Thanks, your help is appreciated!

Well, if you get a big tumbler that can hold a pound at a time and spin it for 30 min, you can probably process 20 pounds in 12 hours (counting time for swapping out material). Note that the material will still have plenty of THC left, can be used for BHO/cooking, probably will still smoke decent too if it was top notch to begin with.

This is true but do you have personal experience using this method?

The machine is like a corkscrew, You load one end and it goes bouncing down to the other end and out. You raise the legs on the motor side for more elevation, for less bouncing time.

I think this is what you want.

For large dry-sieving projects you can special order a Pollinator P4 EVER from Mila. This machine can handle as much as you can throw in it for as long as you can throw it. Two man operation, one throwing and one catching. You can adjust the legs on the motor side for different elevations. Raise one end higher so it does not bounce as much, making for a better quality end product.

For large water-extraction projects, sometimes bigger is not better. Meaning you do not always need the 32 gallon set of Water-filteration bags. I prefer to use a large-capacity household washing machine with a 32 gallon trash barrel with a matching lid that you cut a hole in the middle to fit a 5 gallon paint bucket. The 5 gallon paint bucket has the bottom cut-out so that the water can drain through the 5 gallon set of water-filteration bags into the 32 gallon trash can. You add a drain to the 32 gallon trash barrel for easy drainage of the 32 gallon trash can. With this process there is no heavy lifting and one person with some experience can handle the whole operation. With this process you can easily wash 1 to 1.5 kilos in 1.5 hours from the start of setup time to the time the wet resin powder hits the drying rack.

Or you can use multiple mini-washers.
