Thanks rounders, I appreciate it :woohoo:

I'm pretty sure this one is the Brazilian pheno, she'll be re-vegged, I just can't believe the weight she's putting out :yoinks:

I'll be developing a DrBud's cfl grow soon, I reckon this pheno will make amazing yields for such a grow.

I'm really lovin the ultra too steele. A big for you big guy, in a very blokey, ball-scratchin kinda way.

I've decided to keep 2 moms. I like the Brazilian pheno alot, the trim is fantastic, very little leaf to trim, the taste, aroma, strength, effect, yield, ease of growth. I could go on.

The 2nd mom is that big yielder above. She just same as Brazilian except more leaf to calyx ratio, but compared to other strains it's still fantastic leaf to calyx, but compared to the freaky brazilian pheno's lack of leaf....

hmmmm....the pheno in the pics above has nicer bag appeal.

So we'll keep both until I feel compelled to cull either.

Anyways.....chop chop :yeahthats

After meeting with Papaulz(?) he mentioned somethang very interesting that has stuck with me since ..... Checking out tha macro's, look at how tha trichs are tall standing and nary bent over. It was explained to me by this hash master that tha tall standing trichs will have tha heads decapitated easier and more efficiently, taking no stalk. With glands that are bent over, your basically shearing off tha bend of tha trich with very little gland head (not good). Checking out tha Ultra Sonja's of yours, tha trich formation looks perfect for this evaluation for hash making.

Have any pre harvest pics of tha gals Cornflake? I see how spread out they are, not making it any easier to git 'em, but would love to check 'em if you took some. Love that silvery sheen .....

Enjoy yer harvest, I'm diggin' tha pics,
Steele

Very interesting info Steele.

I made some gumby hash outa the sunleaves and so on and it's rockin my world I tell ya. I really think what I heard you say earlier in this thread, that i'd left the gals too long in the last harvest.

I was checkin daily with a loupe but it's the first time I ever harvested using that method so I prolly screwed it.

This time I'm stagerring my harvest some. I cut down 1 yesterday and finished trimming her last night.

Will work another during the day today. as you know Steele, I'm a 24/7 caregiver so I can't sit to do em all in a day or 2, way too may other things I gotta attend to.

So, I'll try to do a photo shoot of each gal before the cjhop.

What I have is 6 plants grown from clone of ALL the various phenos I found last run. I mixed them up and had to grow em all out, to find my kkepers again hehe. I found em :woohoo:
Pics to come...

Thanks for the kind words darkhollo.

I had a problem 4 weeks into VEG and had to move these gals to a friend's house, where we had to squeeze them in around the walls, so really for the first 6-7 weeks into flower these girls had lower levels of light than what an ideal grow ill provide.

I pruned them only so the ultra sonja canopy was getting as much light as possible, so it wasn't really any decision to increase yield or anything. It was really just a space limitation, that I had to remove lower branching.

This was done as I flicked the switch to 12/12.

Please note brother, I believe you'll be seeing a better yield than mine because of low light levels and low nute levels (my friend was feeding them half what I'd asked him to for the whole time lol).

I believe the Ultra Sonja are a very hardy strain, you won't hurt 'em.

If you like what you see here you'll like your own grow alot more I think :rasta:

i dont think you gave yourself enough credit, but whatever.
great grow, and although it was not its intended purpose i love that grow style. the plants just look so, efficient (if that makes sense)

hi there George *waves*

Thanks for the props. Ultra Sonja is a surprising plant, and I think I did much better this run.

I'm talkin about the 1st run, you said you saw mostly cloudy and some amber trichs, from a pic you were lookin at.....months ago.

I watched real close the last 3 weeks or so and never saw cloudy but did see a few ambers, which motivated me to start my flush. I was of course trying to harvest for clear not cloudy, as this is a strain you've grown for head.

I'm happy with result of this run, I actually chopped 3-4 branches off my big yielder a week ago, which are now nearly ideally dried. I smoked some yesterday morning and it was very nice...I'm catching them at a good time I believe.

Thanks again bru', it's a great strain

US#1

US#1

This pheno was looser in bud structure than the others it wasn't airy, it was like mega foxtails everywhere with the mother plant and it is a beautiful fruity funk.

This clone was way younger and smaller than it's sisters so to me it's surprising to see just what she ended up producing.....(coming soonish)
