@Esbe
I was at the Green Ambassador's place today and ask him about the Viking clone he used for the Purple Peace strain. He said that his Viking didn't have any purple flowers, so i think that there was several pheno's of this strain available in the past.

There are produced several varieties with the Viking strain which are sold commercially like Top44 & Hollands Hope.Top44 is a strain which finish within 6 weeks during its flowering stage and Hollands Hope has a flowering period of 8 weeks.

I think you have a different Viking strain than i am.The one i grew this year finished within 6 weeks. It could be that you have a Hollands Hope "Purple Power" strain like this one which i bought as clone at the Positronics shop in the early nineties.

Hollands Hope is a stabilized hybrid Viking (F) x Skunk#1 (M)
Top44 is a stabilized hybrid Viking (M) x Skunk#1 (F)

is that true???
"Hollands Hope is a stabilized hybrid Viking (F) x Skunk#1 (M)
Top44 is a stabilized hybrid Viking (M) x Skunk#1 (F)"

Some Leb44 or a Erdpurt44...for the mold resistans..
May anyone worked with it...??

thx so much for the feedback guys!

b3 x n7 is not related to erdpurt dubi bro, the b3 x n7 is closer to original afghani indica genetics i think. i get pretty numb from smoking it, hehe. i got the b3 x n7 seeds from a med grower on the east coast us. i know nothing more than it is plant numbers like they did in the ol day in holland to.

Thanks for clarify its genetic background friend

B3/n7 x taskenti has similar purple ovaries (slighter smaller) than EP and very similar earthy/hashy aroma too, it didnt taste like taskenti to me so i thought was related to EP or another related danish indica. Anyway is a good one, thanx esbe!

Yes, thats correct. What they told me that a10 stands for an Northern-Afghan and the other one a2 is unknown at this moment.I have to wait for some answers from Wernard .

This strain has a flowering period of 6 weeks, depending on the latitude harvest time is mid till end of September.Good resistancy against molds.
The effect is a knock-out stoned, thats why they named it Viking. The scent is very sweet fruity kind bit lemon when its fresh and dry reminds me bit of Thai.
Plan is to make a hybrid with Leb27 to bring more sativa genes in it.

Thanks for the info manito, it's very apreciated to know more about old dutch commercial plants and their genetic background.

No thnx at all.I thought that this strain was disappeared, but found out that it was kept alive.
This strain is a good one for breeding purposes to lower the flower periods from some strains like your Panama Red if you wanna have an indica/sativa hybrid for outside that can be harvest early in countries like The Netherlands, Denmark or Vancouver region.Just a thought!!

Yes it's a good idea manito,

Our hybrid sativas in catalogue like Panama line, make great crosses with indicas, panama x deep chunk finished between 58-68 days, very early and resinous.

It was ACE Seeds main goal firstly to offer a wide diversity of new sativa hybrids with short-mid flowering times, so growers can pollinate them with their indica dom lines and produce excellent homegrown sativa/indica hybrids by their own.

We understand there's a big demand of this kind of fast sat/ind hybrids so we are lately exploring more how our sativa hybrids join with indicas in straight F1 hybrids. Sure you will see more offerings like this in the future.

Hello Shark et all

The pic is from a erdbeer\purple#1 x erdpurt, as said by Esbe, but as you say, they show (off) some beautiful colours. Have you given a name to this cross already Esbe? It's an F1, right?

I'm very impressed and curious about the erdbeer & erdpurt lines, and Esbe is doing a great work selecting and playing with them :D

Esbe, it was trully a pleasure to visit, it certainly (and hopefuly) won't be the last time!

Keep up the good work, and be safe y'all

i too am interested please, can someone shed some light on the erdbeer/purple#1 X erdpurt please, i have been blessed to receive 4 precious beans of this and would like pics and info please, seems like it would be good for breeding in a purple gene in a cross , all these erdpurt crosses seem purple and beautiful , thanks in advance dubi:joint:

Hey Esbe and friends! I've recently acquired some Danish Passion seeds made by Esbe - could anyone fill me in a little on the strain? I'd appreciate a little rundown. Cheers
