Jones, That Herbaria Bushmans looks real nice! Thanks for the good descriptions. Would you mind elaborating a bit on the strains background if you have any info? I'm really interested in this one...

Here are some Congolese babies, Congo Black to be precise...
Just testing a few out

There are bigger more powerfull UV-b lights like the 300w Osram Ultra-Vitalux ans the ReptileUV Zoo Mega-Ray EB lampwhich comes in 2 flavours, internally ballasted 100 watt lamp, (120 volt or 220 volt) or as an externally ballasted 60 watt lamp with a separate ballast and according to this site UV-b comparisons

I have used 4 of the Mega- Zoo remote ballasted 60w lamps, I must regretfully report NO IMPROVEMENTS.
Sorry if off topic.

Hi AH!

Your little Congos look sooo cute! :)

The Bushmans is a pure, true breeding, sativa landrace from the highlands in South Africa (Ciskei). She has an unusual small structure for a sativa, is stable, uniform and potent with average to above average yields. Can be grown in- and outdoors. Finishes fast, outdoors in Switzerland in late September. Smell ranges from sweet, sticky, rotten oranges to liquor and vanilla. Very easy to grow, doesn't need much fertilizing.

That's basically what I know of the Bushmans. After Herbaria closed shop Nectar Seeds continued the line.

Paz

Lovely stuff PazVerdeRadical, I hope they turn out great! The Swazi red is one of my favorites

Thanks for those links mate, just what I wanted to see.
That's quite an impressive Bushmans clone dRbreiT0r's running. Looks to be a very good indoor producer for a pure sativa. Got some nice resin too!

I put some Durban Poison, Swazi and seeds from unknown purple African pickup down for germination yesterday. They will go outside with the Thaipoisons and Congo Black's already there.
Will get some pics soon.
Cheers guys

Good Day hermano Herbalistic :)

this is what I know of Afropips: before he got banned from this site we exhanged a few pms and I bought a pack of malawi gold and one pack of swazi red from SeedBoutique.
as usual, the service of the boutique was great and to be honest I am very pleased with the plants found in the Afropips packs... sadly, I lost the pure malawi line, rippers and what-not... however, I was able to cross four female malawis to one colombian cripi male. the swazi reds I was able to reproduce well using two pure males and two pure females. but before that, I was able to cross a nice colombian sativa lady to a couple of very vigorous and nice smelling swazi red males. this last cross came out great, once the ganja was properly cured, some of the guys I shared that herb with were afraid of smoking it lol... the malawi x cripi I have not tried yet, but a couple of little babies have came up through the soil already, so we will just have to wait and see.

the smoke of the pure malawi is very good, the smell is wonderful too, pure fruity bubblegum odour, but it may wire some people too much. the swazi red is a beauty just because of the way she smells and the way it smokes, tons of thick smoke and a great unique taste that I cannot describe, some people say carrots, but I dunno. the high is very nice too, wired sativa like, not much body either. the swazi also produces abnormally fat buds for a pure sativa, however the buds are kind of airy and so it does not mold easily.

what I did notice however, is that the generation of pure swazi reds I made outdoors grow a lot more vigorous than the swazi reds produced indoors by Afropips.
maybe because they came out more acclimatized to the tropical 12/12 or because they were produced under the sun? :chin: maybe both.

if I had some money to buy seeds with, I think I would get his tribal vision hybrid.

peace and health

Hi Paz, sounds like you had a lot of fun with those African sats, I would say the swazi were better the second time around because the of the OVERALL outdoor conditions, mostly sunlight, its amazing how fast these plants adapt.

Shout out to BeAn for the flip-mode on the Malawi genetics

Sorry couldn't tell ya. Don't know the breeder,, didn't even know that they were banned until now... lol The dope grows healthy enough in early stages of bloom... only time will tell the rest.

Peace Love Unity :canabis:

Hi Thule, how did that one work out?

Hey! I grew the stocky phenotype of bushman's and it finished in about 60 days lightly seeded. Very resinous and sticky, spooky bud you could say. I didn't experience a lot of euphoria, but it really keeps you going and like you said on higher doses it gets trippy. Visuals on the walls, spooky sounds and stuff. I am now growing out the seeds which were fathered by a celestial temple sativa male. I hope it'll make the high a little bit gentler to my liking.

I took some pictures today but I'm not sure if I can operate the new icmag, let's see.

Well seems like I can't. What do I have to do?

good evening,

levant, hello man :) fun in the sun with african sativas, great times for sure :)
they do seem to adapt pretty fast

DocLeaf, greetings :) just in case, the breeder got banned because he was very hot-headed, nothing to do with the quality of his gear. don't forget to keep updating us with that mini malawi. thanks

peace and health all
