Just trying to figure out which train to do next, I was wondering if Dr.Bud method would work on a sativa dominant plant.

Yes, it'd work. The method works for any strain, any plant. It's simply a Sea of Green method. You will just have to find the right time to put your Sativas into flower. You veg until they reach a certian height (each strain/plant is different) and then flower once that height is reached. Then your plant will grow to the right height by the time it's done flowering and gets the chop.
The way to find the right height or "sweet spot" is to take cuttings and veg each out to different heights: 1", 2", 3", 4", 5" etc. and then flower. Or if you've got plenty of height to work with, just veg 'em to 4"-6". It just takes a bit of time to get dialed in.

i dont know why people are STILL bashing the doc. he documented a run with pictures, and showed the final weight on a scale. why is it so hard to believe? Folks get so wrapped up in the hydro store garbage.

I'm right there with ya doubledotdank. The Doc has no reason to mislead or lie to people. He just has the goal of helping people out with an alternative way of growing. Nothing wrong with that. And like I said, at the heart of the method is Sea of Green. Last time I checked, that's a great method for a quicker harvest (less veg time) in a smaller space.
As long as you have 4-5 feet of vertical space and the light to penetrate, sure. Go 12/12 at the first sign of sprouting. DO NOT VEG! Remember, after 5 months of 12/12, you'll still be in full blown stretch mode.

With a 24x12 space, first time doing this, and with many complications I accomplished this, I have full faith in Dr.s method.

I grow sativas using dr Bud's method. It works, but it would be much better if I had a taller box. I also don't like the 12-14 weeks of flower so I'm slowly switching to AK48.

How tall do they get and at what height do you switch to 12/12?
My last Thunk went 23 weeks. Supposedly, some strains never finish.
I did it and I'm still doing it ... They were very real it's all about that sweet spot, I ran SuperSilverHaze x Trainwreck clones that were 3" and flowered them as soon as they were rooted in a 20oz and they finished at 14-15" so it's very possible...
My Thunder Goo is more sativa and does GREAT!!! best yield yet was a little more than 14g on one plant but I've yet to get that 21g monster but I will!!!
The 2 on the left both came in over 9g and the other 2 were 7g minus stems thank you very much don't listen to those who can't have a open mind about these yields being possible the way DrBud and I grow cuz I have done wonderful following his style ...

Hey nice grow buddy! What strain is that cuz it looks A LOT like this supposed Super Silver Haze I have but I still think its SSH x Trainwreck so I'm really curious what you have going there cuz look...
Thats with NO VEG but I know this strain will do much better with a few days plus I haven't hit her sweet spot yet and dialed her in but looks very similar don't you think ??
