t: yup, the b52 was a mama plant a friend gifted me. she is a beaut.
dj: thanks my friend, i think we hit the nail on the head. i used a large amount of the 0-7-0 budswell. it must be pretty hot. oh well, the vipers are all going to the bathtub for a good flush, then they'll finish out without any additional nutes (maybe a little age-old, we'll see what two weeks of plain water does for them..) no harm done, i think. still looking healthy, and we stopped the leaf curling in time i believe. i put a humidifier in the box, on with the lights timer, as well. can't hurt, i know its pretty dry in there. thansk again for the suggestions!
hehateme: what up g lol yeah i thought she might be a little peaked after the cloning session, but i'm telling ya those wormcastings are amazing. haha they still call me bruce. i did indeed get rid of the dresser, that was just a small clone tray when it was finished. needed a bit more space to do things comfortably, so i made a veg box exactly half the size of my bloom. have a 125 watt cfl and a 65 watt cfl
ok everyone, i had a stroke of genius. i was thinking about my setup, andn how to tweak it. i wasn't really getting enough exhaust from my light during the day hours, and the cab was warming up in spite of my intake system. so i took the 6 inch blower out of the intake, and doubled-it up with the existing 6 inch blower exhausting the light. so now i have two inlines, back to back, pushing the heat out of the light (and exhausting my bedroom at the same time). the intake is now just being driven by the Air Conditioner (just the fan running, no need for the compressor) and is plenty to keep things moving such a short distance. in the end, my temps are steadier than ever. 75 during the light hours, and 65 durinig the night. i have the intake off during the night hours for the most part, just set up to a timer and switching on for a half hour every two or so hours to make sure things don't get too stagnant.
*so again, a big note to cab growers: focus more energy on exhausting the heat from your light than on the intake of cool air. at least with a setup similar to mine
heres a pic of one of the vipers before i flushed her
and i bought some goods for a new soil mix
gonna see what happens with just that, no additonal castings or guano unless i see a deficiency come up. i think it will be enough with the food already in the ocean farm... btw that coco is still the coolest shite ever lol
and my nutes, ready for use as needed
