How can these be Chemdawg 91?

in 1991 Chem himsef germed a seed from a bag of extreemly good weed,,that turned out to be the Chem91.aka.vaSkunk

in 06 joe brand was in posetion of the last remaining seeds from that 1st bag of weed.......they were germed an labled,,,,the keepers turned out to be a plant labled "D" and a plant labled "4"....they are the ChemD an Chem4 clones in curcuation...

Rez is rockin the D...

obviously I haven't grown out the skunkva-wish ida grabbed it from those hanky vendors in the bay a bit ago though.....but after seeing the docta cut done in a room with NO heat problems, I wouldn't mind havin her at all and the VA is even more astringent/chemmy?? must be like whoa

Chem D def. has the sour d type undertones of fuel that remind me of O.G Kush, but those smells are much more in the background... the stanky garlicy body oder smell is in the forefront and overpowers those aromas. But like I said, the aroma def. changes with enviroment with this cut in particular, I've seen some batches come out with moreof those astringent fuel aromas than others. It seems to get more "nasty" type smells (more body oder/garlic) the better the cut is dialed in.

so the D still has a little kush in there??.....would you guys consider the "fule" smell a different trait,compared to the "kush" trait??...

i was starting to think the Sativa side of the 91 must be the source of "kush", ...an the dirty Garlic / B.O. smell was the Afghani Indica side

What do you mean by the "kush trait"? IMO I think people over use the word "kushy when describing an aroma, when people say that something smells "kushy" what do they really mean... people should use more specific descriptions when describing smells. But yes fuel is one of undertones in the aroma of O.G Kush, some have less fuel smells though like swerves's SFV cut

I got chem D! Hope its all you guys say it is.........Have to wait for it to do its thing but to this point its a dream to grow. No top and vegged about 30days. Hope to get 2oz or more. I think being about 3 foot tall when i flipped under the 1000 I should be good to go. Branching and vigor are nice. Looks like it could do much better then what i need. I did a small amount of LST and it did the rest. Will let you guys know when i get some smoke off her and some pics. Good luck you guys on the info hunt. Hope you peg this subject to the wall guys. Just picked up a chem 91 cut out in Malibu.. I am wondering if this is the legit real deal chem 91 skunkva or what? I believe it came from OGORGANIC it was in a plug wrapped in a little plastic ring with the strain/description/flowering time....

Grow out all three and see which one you like the best. I used to run both the original chem and chem d and they were both keepers in my book. I lost my original cut to a bug infestation about the same time chem lost his cut and I lost the d to a cop infestation in "07, lol. I think it's good that the chems are finally making the rounds and more people get a chance to run them. A few years ago Chem told me that he thought it was time that more people had the chems so I'm sure he is not displeased but I hope that people can keep the history straight. I keep reading 91 chem being referred to as va skunk or whatever and I think that is going to confuse some people into thinking that there is skunk in the makeup of chemdog, please keep it real, skunk va or va skunk (i can't remember, lol) was just the s/n of a dude that chem traded cuts with, it had nothing to do with the genetic make up of chemdog.
