Not to appear to take sides but hempy you do need to try some or one of these og.I believe you want be disappointed.There are quite a bit of these ogs out there and I can't really rank all of them but I have grown or sampled three.Ghost,sfv and poison.Maybe they are s1s or even hybrids.I don't know but they work for me.I hope to try out that White Fire when possible.Looks stellar.I have seen some white widow thats frosty like that WF but they are not the same.My best smoking experience comes from MN G13/Skunk......killer smoke.

G4LIFE,now that looks deadly!!..is it crossed with the white?..anyhoo i have yet to taste/ grow any of the og's or bubba yet, but im guessing no matter what cut you get there all good and if your grow skillz are up to par you cant cheat yourself ..what i want to know is sense im on the east coast i'llmost likely never have access to most of these cuts ...how dose the crosses stack up to the hype of the pure og's ?..and what crosses should i look for ..i was gifted jlp's sdog and mk-ultra but have yet to germ'em or should i keep looking for a cut of pure og to find out what the hype is about?

G4life a clone only line being 1 clone now being many should bother you and others if you hope to have the real one its the name that labels the line and makes it uniuque from the other lines.

I have many top quolity lines a lot you cant get commercialy not one i call elite and the ward elite i would never use on any of my past / present / or future lines to me elite is a ward used on the rich snobs of this world not cannabis lines but i have named a line HYPE lol.

And no i have not smoked Ogs no rappers here .

I've grown and smoked the white fire. I took pics but they suck. Gotta get a better cam. Anyways, this plant is fire. I grew 6 plants 5 went 70 days and 1 went 75, all were flushed for 4 weeks. Gives you the most rock hard nugs ever, like a stone. Somehow I got 12 ozs from them, grown in 1 1/2 gallon pots. I will put the pics up tonight anyways.

You know after seeing this again and thinking about it some (being extra ripped helps of course) made me think back & remember when 5600 used to be a good deal just a little over a year/year and a half ago.


hempy i don't know but maybe you missed the part discussing where most sources of these special elites are different dudes who don't frequent the forums.... dudes that never heard of the forums... dudes that haven't knowledge of SFV or Larry or FIRE cuts... dudes that have just been growing bomb nugs they called og kush. the "nick name" is more for referencing the individual plants from each other by their source because they all were passed as "OG KUSH".

This seems to make solid sense to me....

Many of you guys think that all these different O.G cuts have a name attached for mere marketing purposes, IME the real reason for why there are all these names is B/C of an attempt to simply prevent the spread of misinformation and label cuts that came from different sources within the Los Angeles area. In fact, most of the O.G cuts available were originally known & given out as just plain "O.G Kush" up until recently when an influx of different O.G cuts became availble within the community and further labeling became necessary in order to differentiate the sources of these O.G Kush cuts.

For instance the S.A.C O.G cuts were labled by myself #1-3 so that I could differentiate them within my grow as all three of these cuts came into my garden from different sources. All three of these cuts originally came from S.A.C growers. However, everyone of these "S.A.C cuts" were given to me as plain "O.G Kush." They were not even given to me as S.A.C OG.

I don't know what the joke is about O.G Kush... IMO & seemingly the consensus of the entire region of Southern California, O.G Kush is the benchmark for strain quality in terms of potency & taste. It is annoying that there are so many different cuts, but in reality the majority of all these supposedly different O.G cuts are actually indistiguishable, or nearly indistinguishable from each other... very few are actually exhibit any differences at all. Like "MikieMikee" said the best O.G cut is whatever O.G cut you are able to dial in the best.

I'm very surprised that so many of you claim to have grown Swerve's Tahoe cut as Swerve passed it out to only a handful of friends.

Here's a little breakdown of SCC2's O.G Kush list:
-Tahoe= cut brough into the community by Swerve. The grower that Swerve got it from had sourced the cut in the Lake Tahoe area in the 90's.
-Larry= The Orange County Larry cut that is availble in the medical scene came from the same Orange County crew that the H.A O.G Kush came from
-SFV= There are a million O.G cuts grown in the S.F.V, however the cut that goes by this name on these forums and in medical disp. came from forum member Swerve
-Ghost= This cut came from ORGNKID, ORGNKID had sold a O.G cut to a Overgrow forum member named "Ghost" who further distributed the cut.
-Tripple OG= This cut came from ORGNKID. This cut is A.K.A Triple X/XXX O.G Kush. Triple O.G was popularly sold to medical patients by the now defunct C.A.L.M disp. of Malibu.
-Abusive= This cut was brought into the community by an overgrow member named "Abusive", believe it or not Abusive claimed to have got the cut through the rapper Snoop Dogg.
-SAC#2= Cut brought into the scene by forum member O.Gkushman, O.Gkushman got the cut from DJ Muggs.
-P.R OG A.K.A Private Reserve O.G= Another O.G cut that ORGNKID brought into the scene. The cut was sold to Med patients as Private Reserve O.G through the now defunct C.A.L.M disp. of Malibu.
-Apothecary = O.G cut brought into the scene by the apothecary seed co's Brett. Brett got it from a high profile Medical MJ activist in L.A back in 1999
-Diablo= This = cut came from the R.D.C disp. In the San Fernando Valley
-Raskal's OG= Another cut sourced in the San Fernando Valley. Cut was bought for several thousand dollers from Mexican Mafia members by a friends of forum member OGraskal
-HA OG= Cut came from an commercial H.A room in Orange County, grown by the same crew that brought the Orange County Larry cut into the medical Disp.
-Poison OG=Cut came from O.Gkushman, he grew it from seed found in a pound of O.G back in ‘96
-SAC#1 & #3= #1 came from G-Thumb in the San Fernando Valley, #3 came from San Fernando Valley but is very popular in Santa Barbara and sometimes goes by the name “Purple O.G Kush”, the cut was brought into the scene by the owner of the now defunct Hortipharm in Santa Barbara

-Humbolt OG= ?

-JDOG= JDOG’s "Original O.G cut" has for a long time been debunked as another Bubba Kush cut, this cut bares little resemblance to O.G Kush

his Mango hazes, and Nevile's Hazes will get you higher.

but don't get me wrong, OG was not midz when I tried it, it's just that I thought Mango Haze had a higher ceiling.

if you smoke weed everyday for a few decades, sativa leaning strains is all that's left to get really high on. especially when you overflower them.

overflowered Mango Haze is damn good. it might not be as dense as OG, but for me, it gets me higher.

and Hempy is the haze expert, I'm sure he has even better stuff than the phenos I smoked.

ps: OG's high is not as complex as Mango Haze either

Intresting thread Im very curious about the ranking of the OG's for sure.
I agree the best OG is one that is best dialed in, the only diffrence is the taste, smell dept. I have tried the SFV cut only and to me it is very tasty alot of lemon with hints or whiffs of pinesol smell. IMO its comes done to a well dialed in OG and the difference is in what/which cut taste smells better to the individual. JUst curious which is the most lemonist (sp) smellinf and tasting.

1) sfv - cuz I have tried it
2) larry og - heard so much good
3) ghost og - about as good as larry flavorwise
4) apothecary og - potent and tasty
5) poison og - not as lemon but very potent

anyone have any experience with the larry og and apothecary og as far as taste/smell goes please chime in.

but i will have to agree w/ him on one thing, and one thing only.

being i can give an honest opinion, because i grow both regularly.
i must admit that i reach for the haze far more than the og's.
og's dont even compare.
