is everyone still passed out from thanksgiving? hehehe. I still got about 2 gallons of homestyle turkey soup I made w/ the leftovers...mmm mmm.....
I have some seedlings going. Boy, they seem to be taking forever, but it's been awhile since I grew anything from seed. Finally got around to starting some of the seeds I made almost 2 years ago. The most recent batch of deep chunk crosses i made didn't have great success though. Partly b/c of me not remembering how to start seeds in rockwool and partly due to some genetic whoopla. I got several seedlings w/ just the first baby leaves and nothing else. Kinda weird.
But the second batch of seeds had much better luck after a bit of practice. I now have anywhere from 7-12 seedlings each of:
purple indicaXsd (from Hie)
deep chunk X skunk #1 (guyute)
deep chunk X dj's BB (guyute)
OGxSD ibl mix
Original Diesel X SD IBL
a few plain SD IBL, and a few "purple Tar" from hie.
The ones that didn't germ were a HPKxSD ibl cross from Hie, Blue satx straw creme, and the Blue sat f2's.
In total I have ~50 seedlings, just starting out. They will probably get 2 weeks in cups of a perm/verm/soil mix, I'll put them in the flower room to sex, and the fems will be transplanted into bigger pots and flowered. I'll try and take a clone of each to keep a few that standout, but so far I have the catpiss, og kush, and t-haze as definate mothers. Hie I'mma get some peat moss from lowes too and try that out w/ the seed plants.

hey killa,looks like you been a busy guy.We have been busy getting geeked out to the max on best buy stuff,networking the womans computer to my computer,setting up netflicks thru x box so we can watch movies for pretty much nuttin...upgrading our puters,installing memory,and getting our discounts and reward zone points.

i recently attempted my first non accidental cross of some clone strains i have with 3 decent males phenos of the more desirable unknown strain i grew a few months ago now. After narrowing down the males to the best i went about crossing all 3 males with 2 clone strains every which way.
the first seed i cracked luckily was female and flowered early. With a white rhino clone spare these two plants where flowered and the seed testing was on..More planted with the excitment of thinking of what other phenos are to come.

`BushM3 x W rhino both of these plants flowered together now @ 14days or close too. bud formation and trics are very simular and can see some of the father in there too
Impressed i popped more bean 90% germ so far is good but they have the fathers slow veg growth. i think the seedling leans more to the rhino in the x except fot the wider leaves hevier feeder.

hey guys, i found a female today. plant that is... The first batch of seeds i started, the ogxsd from jlp and my ogxsd cross, and 2 dabneyxsd. They were in bad soil that had some kind of fungus, so i ditched them out in the woods. Literally just threw them all in a pile and left them. Well I went back out there just to have a looksy and sure enough a few are still fighting strong. I picked the best out the the three that somehow survived the frost and lack of watering. It is the size of my other seedlings, but it already has some pistils coming out of dark purple frosty calyxes. I don't know which one it is but I replanted it in some fresh fox farm and going to reveg it out.
Most of my clones have rooted now about 8 out of 12. Going to veg the 8 catpiss clones out under the 400 for a couple weeks and then flip it. About a month and a half from now the seedlings should be all sexed, cloned, vegged, and ready to go in.

Did some work today in the room. Got the 8 catpiss clones in 4" RW cubes in square pots w/ a little hydroton at the bottom. Then I painstakingly poked holes in 48 16 oz plastic cups w/ my soldering iron. I transplanted the seedlings into the cups w/ hydroton. They will act like netpots, all I need to do now is get a piece of wood or something to cut holes in and stick the cups in so they hang freely over the ebb and flow tub. Sorta like DWC. The other tub has the 8 catpiss clones that rooted almost a week ago. The plan is to veg everything under the lights for 2-3 weeks and then flip. I decided instead of vegging everything longer and taking cuts,,keeping mothers, I'm just going to flower everything out and reveg anything worth keeping. Most of the seedlings had nice little root systems already so they should really take off soon. The list is

Guys check out the setup...finally in the big leagues, so to speak.. 1800 watt flower room. Hooked the 1000 watter up to my old cool tube w/ some metal stripping. Only thing left to do is hook up the ventilation closet, cut holes and attach fans and filter. I'm STOKED to finally get this room finished and more importantly filled with plants.

Heres the ventilation all done.
Yesterday I went to lowes and got 2 more ebb and flow tubs, another 330 gallon/hr pump, and a 27 gallon resevoir. I'm going to grab another ebb and flow kit from the hydro shop next time I visit.
The room is ~ 5x9x8 with a 1000 watt hps above 2 tubs, and 800 watts (2x400) over the other 2 tubs. I'm using all but ~6 sq ft. giving me right around 45-50 watts per square foot.

Yo killa it is look great over there!!! You have so many seedlings bro, good luck weeding out the males and finding a great female!!! I sprouted a few of my C99X (Sour D X Trainwreck) the diesel and TW cross was from you, the C99 mine. I had only one good seed sprout up and she is now female, I can't wait to run a clone of her!!! Her name is Sourwreck Cindy cuz the father was the sourwreck, and I've heard the male's name goes first in the cross sooo

cali, that cut looks amazing. you seem to have a knack for finding females. I hope to get at least 50/50 from my seedlings. I took out all the mutants and slow pokes and now have 40 left. I'm going to put the mutants and slow pokes in soil and veg out under the flouros.
Here are some pics of the young plants now. They literally went from being seedlings to full blown plants in about a week. Not much vertical growth going on right now. Most of these are of the short and stocky variety. I'm guessing since most have the deep chunk in them they will grow as wide as they will tall.

Hey everyone. Had some troubles this fall but all is cool now. Just lost most plants by a land owner. But back at it with some indoor going only problem is spider mites. First I treid hitting them with safers soap well that shit sucks. Then I put in a hot shots no pest strip and it seemed to knock them down for a little. But now there back in full force so I trippled the no pest strips and hit them with Einstein oil and will hit them 3 more times in the next two weeks. But other than the BS I do have some Purple Tar going and some (OGK x SD IBL) x (OGK x SD IBL) I put them in Paper towels 2 weeks ago and are nice looking seedlings ATM. I have a few clones of Chem D, Chem 91, Geisel, PTK, and the White in flower ATM I really hope the spider mites don't fuck them up to bad
.Killa- Have any mutants in the DC x BB? Can't wait to see how they all perform under the 1800 watts congrats on the new room.

hey guyute,get some sm-90,wonderful stuff for spidermites,that's what the sm stands for,spider mites.kills borg on contact.Treat leaf or stem infestations by applying as a foliar spray. SM-90 eliminates many molds, mildew and leaf spot and is also effective for botrytis, blight, fusarium, leaf mold, rhizoctonia stem rot, sclerotinia stem rot and others. SM-90 also discourages and eliminates many common pests including aphids, thrips, spider mite, and whitefly. It is believed to act as a systemic to inhibit insect colonization and to deter reinfestation. Application rate: Mix 1 part SM-90 with 5 parts water. Spray directly on plant leaves and stems - be sure to spray entire plant as a prevention measure. Repeat every 3 days for up to 3 applications. Spray plants with water to prevent excess build during repeated applications.

Thanks for the info guys. I don't see any adults around anymore but I do see little white eggs on the under side of the leaves. I hope another hit or two with the einstein and keep the Hot shots in there for a few weeks will take care of them. The hard part is I have all sorts of stages of plants some seedlings some mothers some clones some flowering for a few days some flowering with a few weeks left.
I am going to keep fighting them till summer and if I can't get rid of them I'll put all plants outdoors and bomb the room. And start with all new genetics. Just a bummer to lose my mother plants.
Sounds like some killer crosses HE. Got any outdoor plans this year? The Deisel crosses have been killer outdoors for me. If you have more of those PG-13 x SD IBL's I highley recommend those.
