Edit: Thought it was a lot better by the end, but I did not like how they kept trying to equate how high Emery was to a number or get a number value. That just seemed very reinforcing of negative ideals. The guy that seemed to have the best opinions was that British scientist in Israel. Some of the stuff he said really just simplified the whole reasons of why people are the way they are with marijuana - Orangecrush Hey Orange my thought s exactly and the guy in the uk said that skunk was supposed to 40-50% thc... it should be a crime for law enforcement to make uneducated or purposely missleading info like that

they said indoor "skunk" in the UK is 30-50% STRONGER than teh imported regs from afghanistan NOT 30-50% THC

Thought it was a fair and balanced show. Though there were some idiotic points in it. Marc E. comment about his goal, I believe thats going to hurt the US in the long run. I'm sure there were alot of DEA agents watching the show last night.

I thought it was OK.

They should do a follow up and detail US law enforcement and their attitudes and practices involving it. They need to talk about how their efforts in attempting to eradicate it is a multi billion dollar business for LEO and is the source for a lot of their funding. LEO doesn't want it legal because then they don't GET PAID!!!!!

They should have cut Emory's babbling time in half or even less and given it to the Israeli's that had actual facts to support their opinions. I don't have anything against Marc per se and applaud his efforts, but I sorta remember what John Sinclair said and probably will mangle the quote:

"We were trying to legalize marijuana, while smoking large amounts of it. We should have picked one or the other, if we wanted to be successful at either."

Anyone note what the Israeli Docs name was? I'd like to follow up on him. I had no idea that they were so much further advanced than the US, though given the political attitude here it doesn't surprise me in the least.

All in all pretty good but definitely needs a part two to finish the story.

ok. i'll pop in!

i saw it. it wasn't bad. too much emery and making him look a little silly high at times, comments like 'look how fast your talkin' etc.' just made him look a little goofy while under the influence. look audience, like it's a silly state of mind to be in. pot smokers are feeble minded, dim witted, and goofy, look how they're acting.. yeah some are, but not all.. but everyone looked like they were having a good time, not like meth or heroin .. that's for sure!!

so i also watched the two intro shows, heroin and meth. comparing it to them it was night and day. there was hardly any negative in the pot show. they couldn't show you people all strung out and shaking, robbing grocery stores on it or anything, and left it on a positive philosophical point..showing no rehabs, etc. they can't really say too many bad things about it, because they know people know too much now to be fooled by the major bs.

also, they make the whole cali forest thing look terrible, which it is!! dont get me wrong.. but they never really mentioned its the mexican criminal cartels, and that a possible solution would be to just legalize, and then there will be no demand, and no more destruction of our state parks, etc.

While there is still no real cure for cancer, every day researchers move a step closer to finding that cure. Twenty-five-year old Natalya Kogan, a Ph.D. candidate at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, working under the supervision of Prof. Raphael Meshulam, recently proved that extract from the cannabis plant is able to help heal cancer within the organism.

Kogan, who immigrated from the Ukraine 10 years ago, developed a new compound known as guinniodic cannabinoids, which is similar to several anti-cancer medications such as Daunomycin. Whereas Daunomycin produces negative side effects in the heart, Kogan’s tests have proven the new compound to be much less harmful, even reducing the volume of cancer, which it did during animal testing.

What makes guinniodic cannabinoids compound so different is that it forms a complex with the enzyme Topoisomerase II, which is responsible for mitosis (when two new nuclei form with the same number of chromosomes as the nucleus from which they’re formed). This specifically stops the division of cells and growth of the tissues, as compared to most of today’s anti-cancer substances that are less selective in their action. These substances also reduce the blood supply to the cancer tissue.

While Kogan continues her research to discover mechanisms and modes of action for these substances, in the interim the substances themselves have a high potential for future anticancer medications. Kogan received the Kaye-Innovation Prize from the university for her research.
