I say I agree with you completely on the names and labling thing arround here with the cuts being passed around and sold, if we just keep the names on that we got 'em as, we will at least know and remember witch and where we got 'em from, lol
no matter what they sure are dank, at least the ones that I have gotten, and not many have gotten out of my mother room's once they came, hahahah!

Big up to Outlaw for this one and I highly recommend these beans to anyone looking for a killer purple pheno that has legit powerhouse parents.

That girl does look mighty tasty, but she doesn't look like GDP, at least not Ken's GDP that I am familiar with. Your girl looks to be a Sativa with purple characteristics. Ken's GDP has much broader leaves.
If you don't mind the hijack, I have Ken's GDP in a v-sog in the middle of the 6th week flower that I can post. Also a few moms I have been nurturing since May in an Ebb and Gro system. One of which is just under 5ft tall out of a 2 gallon bucket! The cut I have is verifiable right from associates of Ken Estes who actually came up with the now legendary name for this strain.

Niggenz - Post away! I wanna see if I can tell with the two clones I have going whats what. Hard to go on site alone also - too many factors that could be diff. Sub could be growing in diff medium., wattage, nutes, etc... so would be hard to eyeball a single bud and know for sure. I will say this though - Subr - has access to stuff most will never see so when he says he has a cut - I tend to believe. Respect!

I am recollecting the the time my buddies started growing the same GDP cut I have in soil/indoors and their grows more closely resembled yours rather than my indoor hydro setup. Seems my grows don't nearly have the same high leaf count that your buds do, but then again, I am indoors in a v-sog. You are outdoor and in soil, so like you said, environmental properties may play a part in shaping the characteristics of the plant. Any how, here are those pics.

Sub- The more I see your GDP nug the more I hope mine looks like that finished, I'm on my first run of her, but I think mine is Ken's or something as I got it in a Mendo club, that had alot of flowers and plants on site. Here's a pic of a Cheese nug in the foreground, but right behind it you can see the GDP with yellowing leaves and purple tints starting to come on..you can see the leaves are much wider than the Cheese and Sour Diesel too..

Here is a different bud. You can see that she has turned a nice royale purple color and is completely frosted over.

Very nice purple colors, what day did they start turning purple? Were they indoor? What where the temps? Here are some yellow pics with the HPS on, I keep missing them in the dark, the leaves are turning purple and yellow though..
