tonatiuh- i notice that in your first picture you have a scrubber sitting on a stand next to your tent. This looks very similar to my setup. I was wondering if that is your intake and you are scrubbing the air coming in or if you are pushing through the scrubber as your exhaust. Looking good etiher way good luck with that 600.

I don't know what type of glass, but from the side it looks like 2 panes with a sliver of air or some other layer in between . My friend found it in a pile of junk and it just so happened to be the perfect fit for the cab.

hmm, dr. d, I'd thought about that, but actually considered it in the reverse logic... that with everything else going on, much to the conservatives' chagrin, maybe they wouldn't care if the liberal folks snuck it into some healthcare legislation or something. shit i don't know. maybe your right. then again if it DID manage to get out there, i bet once the issue got on the national polling scene lawmakers would have no choice but to go with it. anonymously i think everyone pretty much supports it. a week ago i would have said this country isn't progressive enough, but after obama's election my faith in our country - or at least our ability to evolve - has been renewed. still, i won't be holding my breath haha

ok guys, finally i had a free night (on that note, i work 8:00am-4:30pm M-F and watch my son 6:00am-8:00pm sat-sun. i'll post when i get time, but please understand if it goes a week or so in between. bitch be cool! haha

here we are, six venomhead beans, 5 out of 6 six sprouted after five days in brita-filtered water:

just stapled the mylar inside, and mounted the light strip by drilling four holes and using bailing wire to secure it. worked ok i think.







it's actually staying pretty cool in there, i'll get my thermometer back in a couple weeks, but from just feeling it we're well below 80deg F. good stuff.

of course the light discipline needs a little work. lol but i don't have to worry about stealth - there's gonna be a 6'x5' plywood box sitting a foot away making all kinds of noise. my room itself will be the stealth part. i.e. no one else will go in it. and remember this will be just for my clone tray, not vegging to any sort of height - just rooting and getting ready to go under the compact floro then to the 600.

what up leel im new to growing first grow went to shit but hey live and learn right. im workin on a stealth dresser cab myself with a 400watter in there with my babys im germin some of my bagseed beans right now. i got a veg bos wit 6 23 watt cfls in it this is the box i attempted my first grow in but like i said that went to shit. keep up the good work and good luck to you and me ha lol payce love and smoke on!!!!!

/\/\/\/\/\ welcome aboard brother! feel free to ask questions or post pics, there are a lot of folks out there a-lurkin with a damn fine collective wisdom for the exploring (thats a lot of passive voice haha).

ok, some work on the cab. first of all, 6'x5' was fucking crazy. a lot bigger than i thought. so with 8 foot sheets of plywood at seven and a half bucks a pop, i decided on a 4'x4' square box. 3 sheets of plywood cut in half, and a dozen 2x4's (cheapies) to anchor screws.




that's a shitload of work lol. i had to buy some rope to tie around my car! luckily i had a sheet and wasn't far from my place so there i was in my luxury sedan driving with six sheets of 4x4 plywood tied through my rear windows with orange rope. good stuff.

anyway i achieved a good deal. now i just have to get a jigsaw and cut out a six inch hole on one side, and a rectangle for the light on the top. does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? i ordered a 600w hps hydrofarm system, with daystar ac reflector (pretty sure on that name not positive) , glass lens also. I don't want to set up an obvious fire hazard by having the hot glass in direct contact with the plywood... maybe i'm being overly cautious but i'm going to put something in between. weather stripping? rubber strips? any suggestions are much appreciated.

hey bro ya slipped one in while i was posting. tell your girl i said thanks, and you as well kind sir. i was pretty happy with the end result... i think the temps may be around 85f, but if they stay there i'll be ok. if not looks like i'm cutting a four inch hole for the old computer fan. should be an easy fix.

oh that reminds me. i'm going to have a six inch inline blower pulling air two feet from the ac/outside air. also a six inch inline exhausting the 600. i'll see about putting the 200w floro in there. may not need it with the smaller cab. i can always drill a couple holes and put it in using the yo-yo thingys.

wattup leel,nice work maing.ya know,a 6 inch hole saw would cut a cleaner hole for you bro.just pop it on ur drill and it will be done in a snap.
and maybe you could buy some insulation board to put between ur lamp and the wood.just cut ur hole and put it on top.its cheap,and easy to cut.and im pretty sure it will be safe for that...just an idea.
looks like everything is coming together bro as far as the size of the cab,whatevers clever yo.as long as its workin for you.4 x 4 is a decen size.my tent is 5 x 5 and i got 20 in there and it aint even lookin stuffed.regardless i know ur gonna grow the seems off the mf.peace yo.-T-

i got my 600 setup in the mail, and bought the inline fans, ducting, hole saw, etc at the depot. just need to cut a hole for the lite, put the roof on, mount the "door" and hook it all up. im sort of occupied at the moment with a sleepy two month old lol (so cute - fatherhood is the best) but ive got pics in my camera in the other room. all six beans are stretchin out of the dirt! oh and i now know the seeds r viper not venomhead sorry for the confusion.

i ordered the govt mule (g13xdeepchunk - cannocopia) and moon shadow (c99xchemo - joeyseeds), 10 of each. glad ur sticking round all, things are getting closer to being interesting...

the 6" inlines were 37 bucks each at home depot. i found them online then called to see if they had them at my local store. the guy in the department said no nothin bigger than a four inch. i went anyway to get whatever i could, and of course i found a whole shelf of 6 and 8 inch inline fans. what an idiot.
