the weather has been terrible here so I've been reading up on the Bushy One. i've been reading the archived BOG forum now for the past two days! After reading 5 pages into the archive (I'm on page 25 right now) I realized how important and influential BOG was to the cannamunity. The mark of greatness is when everything before you is obsolete and everything after you bears your mark. By no means do I not respect all the breeders and growers that have gotten us to this point in time, but BOG not only shared his love for the plant with everyone, he tried to bring everyone up to his level.

is there such a thing as a bad BOG picture??? I have not seen a bad looking plant at any stage of growth and the finished product is always nasty!!! it is just unadulterated, pure raw funk. the pictures of BOGs work through the ic community are borderline pornographic.

Preserve those BOG strains by propagating and sharing......and if people still have paks that they haven't germinated, i say POP 'EM while they still have a good germination rate.......

BOG was a big reason i joined here too, and i love that the new members are reading the archive and re-discovering the joyful spirit of BOG....

I still have bushy's og and ic threads saved on my comp. Its was my grow bible for all this years.

i consider bog to be one of the few greats left these days. he has always displayed kindness and generousity to the canna community and i have personaly been gifted by him long before his wares were available commercially. he was a mentor and an inspiration to me. i have often thought of him as a ganja version of robin hood, with out stealing from the rich he has always given to the poor, needy or just plain anybody. i whole heartedly hope that he returns to our community, even just on a casual basis. having him appear here and there is a blessing in its self. it gives me a calm re assurance that all is still good in the world...... come home bOG :D

BOG was an "out a sight & out of this world" teacher/friend to everyone when it came to showing his true self.

History will show BOG to go down as a revolutionary, visionary prophet of the canna-cosmos. He was a purest breeder, and people like him grow beyond their own backyards into all the lives they touch.

Most everyone on these forums has been influenced by BOG in a POSITIVE manner. When I got turned on to ICMAG, BOG was the one who first inspired me with all his grow know how..... and all his humanity......Blessings & Love..........Desi!

I was a member of overgrow from the start to finish....just recentely joined icmag but have always read the forums. When I was on OG I've read so many forums that I got help from BOG on. I didn't know him(or grow his strains) but I know he was the man. I've used alot of his methods and hints, ideas and other help that he posted on OG and ICMAG. I'm going to use his elevated potting method on my next grow. BOG had a ton of knowledge... and I'd like to thank him for helping show me the ropes. I dunno the deal of why he left ICMAG and don't care BOG was a great help for growers

If anyone has the July 2005 issue of hightimes on page 40-44 is a great article on Bog's elevated potting method. Bog also talks about his curing method...which is the same way I cure buds to this day. I also do the 24 to 72 hours of total darkness before harvest. When I started indo in 1998 I was not very good but after getting jorge cervantes indoor grow bible....and reading tons and tons of forums with bog's methods and techniques I can get some nice nugs. Bog grows awesome plants because he never lets them get rootbound(He stays one step ahead of his plants not one step behind). I always liked bogs info because he went into detail that was simlpe to understand and it always seemed to work lol. I could go on all night...Bottom Line is BOG is one of the best to ever grace these forums

B.O.G....I could see me in 20years still with that damn HT july 05 book. I'm crazy for not getting some lifesaver and sweetcindy. I dunno if he will come back but I hope he's doing well. You know he's probably checking these forums from time to time. Best Wishes BOG..

BOG's probably got some nice monster females right now that many people would die for. I love how he grows huge plants...thats how I like to do it A few monster indo female plants...get about 5 or 6 good prime OZ's less or more out of a plant. ANYTHING YOU SEE WITH BOG's NAME ON IT...I WOULD TAKE TIME AND READ IT
