so wait, is there a larry kush thats different than the og kush 'larry cut'. or whatever.
or are the larry og and the larry kush the same thing? now im REALLY confused. All i know is that the "larry cut" of the og kush smells and looks a lot like other ogs ive seen/ grown

Hi JeffSpicoli Larry is a grower, he grows OG Kush and an OG hybrid called Larry Kush which is a larger yielding ogesque plant but in circles that are getting the Larry K and the OG K, they are different animals. I have no idea what cut is circulating in the medicial coops and how they are related to Larry the grower, but I just know that there is Irene Kush, Larry Kush, and OG Kush and all 3 are different clones.

also, why do we not see it pictured much on IC or other sites, is it just no passed much?

The DOG has the typical K type high...mellow euphoric and with over indulgence can get you sleepy.

I believe the main reason that The D.O.G is not shown off too often is that not very many people on the on line weed sites actually have the cut and those that do are not the types to trade on line or interested in selling clones to clubs.

am willing to concede(and hope it is the case) that maybe cbf has the best interests of the community in mind when he posts these statements. and maybe even that i am misunderstanding. however, i have read nothing in his posts that necc. points me in that direction. i am open to any discussion regarding the san diego scene in this thread or any other(as long as it doesnt raise the ire of a mod), but he has yet to respond to any of the points i have made or questions i have asked. plus, i tend to be crankier the earlier it is, and have read his posts in the morning. the people i know in this thread strike me as very open to helping others out whenever possible, and care about the scene. i think it is insulting to everyone here when he posts these little snippets, whether his intention or not. or then again, maybe im just being an asshole, its happened before

wow, joeshmoe, that is a beaut, I haven't seen the real hogs breath in SD since around 2000, the rest has been a different pheno of hogs, that looks very nice..

All I know is that there is only 1 OG Kush, Larry Kush, Irene Kush , Pure Kush x Irene are all OG crosses and crosses to other K's.

Of course every plant labeled OG is because theres no such thing as a fake marijuana plant unless it is made out of plastic but the true market brand OG Kush only has one cultivar that is TRULY representative of that name.

--not trying to be tough man, was just trying to deduce who you thought was at fault, if anyone. I am certainly not trying to run ya out of the thread, just dont want anyone thinkin anyone i know personally on this thread is hoarding cuts. i think i can speak for a number of people here who have gone outta thier way to help other patients in need, and have made sure that any cuts that come from outside of the group get passed on to said medical provider. and ya, it did open a can of worms because of comments people have made before in this thread. as i stated before, i was reserving judgement until i heard back from you.
so kick back, hang out and understand that "cut karma" is taken seriously here in san diego, where things can be kinda tough for the "legal, medicinal cannabis scene". as far as im concerned, the issue is resolved and we are good......sub

cbf, I wasn't pointing out you especially when I said that folks went to the clubs and bought the most expensive shit and then bitched about the price. Folks in Cali get a little riled about the criticisms of the clubs(much of which is deserved), as the clubs do serve a purpose, even if most of them are profit mongers.

I think that what riles most of us is the bitching from nubes that they can't get "good meds" because all us Cali growers are "hoarding" cuts. Cali growers have created many good strains that are making their way across the country and even the world. These growers don't "owe" anything to anybody. If a man creates a new strain or gets a special pheno that he wants to keep for himself or a few of his "posse", that is his own business. I have made several crosses myself, and plan on making even more. I have given away over 5,000 seeds to medusers(this is not an offer to give or trade seeds) and plan on continuing to provide sick folks with meds. Much of the stuff I plan to breed will contain both THC and CBD and will not be of interest to "stoners",but will help med patients.

Not everyone hoards cuts or seeds. If you can't get the "latest and greatest" ,so what? There are thousands of hybrids and poly hybrids out there and all will get you stoned. Relax, chill, make friends and good things will come to you. Three years ago, I started out with 2 clones from clubs(one with spider mites) and 6 packs of seeds I bought from Gypsy. I now run about 10 clone-onlys, have seeds for 102 strains(about 18 land races) and still don't have all the latest and greatest(and never will). Since the best med strains don't exist, I want to create them. Instead of all the nubes bitching about what they can't get(this is aimed at no one in particular), they need to read, learn, grow and create their own.

Rant over, we will now continue with our regularly scheduled program!
