heres a cut i got that was labeled as Grape Ape, but i have since realized she was mislabeled and is most likely SnoCap. The smell for the past 3-4 weeks has been unmistakeably snocap. She is currently around 6-7 weeks in, ill probably let her go another 2 or so.

Yeah, spicoli, that aint no Grape Ape. You would know, unless your temps were like a hundred... I had a very limited run with the snow cap, but it did seem promising. I don't know much about snow cap...are you identifying this mystery cut just from smell?

Yep. But honestly i have a nose and knack for strains like no other. And ive smoked a lotttt of different snowcap, Most often its been what i would consider 'commercial' but what your normal stoner would think is some fire chronic. I have had one INSANE batch of snow cap tho that was honestly so amazing sweet and smooth tasting.
This plant smells identical to every snow cap ive ever smelt, if not wayy yummier.

Anyone out there got any snow cap pics of there own?
Only thing that comes to mind when i think of snocap nugs are overnuted hairy nugs, but that still have that same yummy almost trainwreck but more sugarysweet like smell

Dude yours seriously look very similar its kinda creepy
Like a better version of what i would imagine this cut too look like a couple more weeks in.
But ya, the calyx formation, and the serations of the leafs totally remind of my cut, only yours looks like some KILL.
Im actually very impressed with how this cut turned out, just cause it was only about 8" when i flipped her, and wasnt lookin very pretty, rootbound in a cup and startin to discolor... it was either kill her for room, or flower her out for potentialy a crap yield.
Luckily tho shes nugged up alright, and ill actually have a few nice nugs to smoke on.
I am SUUUPER bummed thats shes not grape ape though, i was stoked thinkin i had GA cause i absolutely love the flavor of some bomb grape ape.
This cut smells super yummy, but i cant help but be disapointed

Just wanted to pass some info along to the SD growers. Many of you know that my son is dying from ALS(Lou Gehrigs Disease). I have done a shitload of research about the disease on the internet(only understanding a little as doctors talk really funny). I have had the opinion for some time that CBD was as important or more important than THC, but never had any real confirmation.

Recently, I have been exchanging e-mails with a Professor of Rehabilitative Medicine at Univ. of Washington Medical School who is a specialist in ALS. He told me about experiments with mice and cannabis and ALS. It seems that THC keeps you from contracting the disease for as long as 6 years in human terms and CBd keeps you alive 3 years longer once you get it. that may not seem like much, but 50% of ALS patients usually die in the first 2 years and 70% by 5 years.

I also have an on-line friend in Israel who is an organic chemist(specialty is organoleptics) who worked in Dr. Raphael Mechoulam's lab for 3 years. Dr. Mechoulam is the guy who discovered THC. Mechoulam told him Sunday that drug strains containing only THC were not as important as once thought and that cannameds should contain both THC and CBD. Both are neuro-protective and anti-oxidants, which help to protect the body.

This info will not help "stoners" but will help med users. The pot we get from "med clubs" is only partly effective, just for those conditions that respond just to THC. May not be of interest to many of you, but thought I would pass it along. THC helps with pain, is a neuro-protecter, anti-oxidant,antiemetic(good for nausea) and kills certain types of cancer cells. CBD is an anti-oxidant, antiemetic, anti-inflammatory, anti-psychotic, anti-anxiety, anti-convulsant,immunomodulatory and relaxes the long muscles of the body. It also keeps cancer tumors from growing.

Thanks, Dr. K. I may not be in time to help my son, but this could help many others. I have Chinese Indica and 2 land race Afghans in veg now looking for high CBD strains. I just dropped seeds of feral hemp, as I know it will be mostly CBD.
