OHHH NOOO, PLEASE tell me you didn't veg the Thunk!!!!! I vegged mine to 8-10" and it hit the 7' cealing at about 60 days total, way before the 120+ days it took to flower!!!!!

Hi Blaner123Doobie, I'm not trying to be a smartass, not my style, your plant looks very nice and healthy! I'll help with any questions you have and check out the link to my Thunk grow in my sig!

Looks like you got lucky and got a shorter flowering pheno type, here's mine at 70 days and only little hairy bud sights!!!

and again at 120+ days almost ready for harvest, I dropped her 2' to the bottom of the rez tank to get much needed headroom, HAHAHAhaha!!!

Good Luck with your Thunk, she's looking GREAT!!!

Peace My Bro in Thunk, Don :joint:

Thanks Abird and Dyren :)

Hi Don, I think I may have got the pheno that does not stretch as bad as some others, I just measured her, she is exactly 2 foot tall after 5 weeks of flower, so I may have lucked out, also I topped her hard when she was little to keep the growth down, have not topped since she went into the flower room, but she seems to have lost her stretch. so far :) No worries, I did not think you were being smart, more af a friendly warning about what could happen :))

Yeah, I think you definitely have a more Skunk-leaning pheno there. Looks great so far, very healthy. The buds have a lot more chunk to them than my Thai-leaning pheno - a lot more. She grows these wispy long strings of flowers that just keep getting longer and longer. I had to train the plant in a spiral like a topiary because it just kept getting taller. I just moved out of my place and had to cut her down at about 8 weeks, and she was far from finished. But I've got a bonsai mom of her, and some beautiful seeds from her, the product of a union with a super-early and stinky Blockhead male. Those should be interesting. Oddly enough, the seeds from my plant are about 3 times the size of the parent seed and very mottled - they look almost identical to my pack of The Pure from Flying Dutchmen. The calyx size is about the only Skunk influence I observed in any aspect of the plant, they got fucking huge.

I smoked some of the dried herb before she went into the hash pile, and while premature and underdeveloped, the high held the promise of something really amazing. After braving a gigantic doobie of the leafy string buds, it made my head feel like a glass globe with a pair of eyes floating in it and gave me a kind of edgy but pleasant euphoria without a trace of body. I can't wait to grow her to maturity and give her a proper cure. One of these days...

Good luck with her, Blaner. Keep us posted.

Why Thanks alot Blaner!

Hi Blaner, nope it's 2! I trimmed off the lower 2' of growth to sink her to the bottom of the rez tank and cut thru the openings I made for the net pots and put them both thru the same hole! So it kinda looks like one!!!

You might want to cut back a little on the nitrogen it'll help slow the streach ;)

As of late some of the youngblood newbies are real soft skinned! This one guy asked how much water he should use in his buckets, so I said to fill em just about an inch under the botton of the net pots when first starting seedlings in his buckets so the bursting bubbles would keep things moist and not over-watered. I then went on to tell him to be carefull because his setup looked like it was in a cardboard box and he was talking about puttling an 800W lamp! Now this is just after I had my small fire!!! THIS DUDE WENT OFF ON ME UP ONE SIDE AND DOWN THE OTHER!!!!!!! I was like WTF??? Sorry for answering your queston! Then he goes that's not right either, I need to know how much water to put in my buckets??????????????????????????? OKAAAA?
HAHAHAHAhahaha, no pix or bucket size!

So now when I suggest or say something a little off the wall I try to explain myself first! I didn't think you'd take it wrong, your karma is up there and your experienced ;)

I'm gonna pull up a chair and watch your show thru!!!

Peace my Thunk Brother, Don :joint:

Have you seem my Bonsais yet? First time playing in the dirt =P
Burmese Dream Bonsai

Still waiting for my Bagseed Log Bonsai to finish! YES it's growing thru that small log =P

A few more on her progress ;)

I really enjoyed training them, it was a blast!!! Do you think I should do a tutorial photo thread on training?

Don!

Hey, hey, hey! Welcome to Thunker's Anonymous.

I tried topping, supercropping and bending to control height. Topping royally pissed her off and she grew faster than ever. Supercropping did nothing but make her laugh. Bending worked wonders as the "tops" continued to grow while buds along the curve fought for supremacy. Result was a severe slowdown of vertical growth with no loss of overall growth.

Left me with some interesting cola shapes
