Thanx Sagaseedman im looking forward to the flowers are showing too

yeah sorry to "disapoint" you and others saibai, there is no TGA genetics here but I'll promiss it's not gonna be any less borring.

There is alot going on and lot's of update on, so I'll just start from a end and go thru it rough.

SSH training is looking good, they are growing nice and healty.

SSH veg in aeroflo I have changed the clone that was looking sick, then I have started pH adjusting this setup with citric acid, not H3Po4 pH down as I use in the other reserviors.

Here is a few shots of the fittings, how I connected the tubes and return the water to the reservior. The reservior is simply just under the floor, with a access hatch outside the room

Alegria Clones in 12/12, they are doing nicely. A bit streachy, but they only get side light. The HPS above them is turned off atm, maybe it will be on later in flower but for now they will have to do in the side light of the other 1 Ks

Im gonna borrow a lux meter form a friend to messure the spred of the light and find the most optimal and even spred.

Bubblegum

I got a few pic's of the bubblegum from the past few days

Here is some from 2 days ago

These are from yesterday

Finaly I'd just like to show one of the big BG females, it's the biggest plant in the room forshure and looking healthy.

Nephthys

Good and healthy grow - continuing. They are growing nicely everyday you can see a fine difference in the plants, early after lights on the top is all lime green from fresh growth, then during the day they turn dark green like the rest of the plant

To keep the moms healthy and produceing lot's of cuttings I change them often, some moms I keep longer then others befor I turn some clones into new moms. As im not gonna be makeing alot of clones the next month, I desided it was time to make more and smaller moms of each strain and pheno. Like the SSH clones im training.

After cutting a bunch of cuttings I trimmed the moms and put them into the flower room on 12/12, they are just in there mother pot's and they would proberly enjoy a repotting into something bigger and grow into a massive bushes.

Here is't really showing they are lime green in the new growth, but it do change into a dark green folia during the day :jump:

All from me for now, now it's time to get going and do some work. Got lot's of stuff to do hehehe, keeping myself busy forshure!

L

Lava Surfer

A shot of the new growth and lime color it's haveing after lights out, it's also very clear to see on the Mother plants I put in 12/12.

YAY another 5 posts and I can chat LOL

Another picture is the Nephthys Males I have selected, there is a bunch of males but these are the 9 I have selected to flower and see what they got in there sack.

I have for the first time in my time as a grower gotten a Male that have hermied into a female, I have often seen herma genetics specialy at my friends who grow outdoor. But Never had a male going female, only the other way around. It's not between the selected males ofcause, as hermie is a unwanted treat and should never be used IMHO.

Any of you guy's out there who have had males turning female, the female flowers are less then male pods and did only start showing after I moved them back into 24/h light!?!?!?!??!

Hey there - had to hit the subscribe button a couple of days ago when I didn't have time to read the thread.
You've got a lot of interesting stuff going on there - just imagine the range of aromas and flavors potentially available in a cross containing Swt, C99 and Cali-O... How was the Purple Maui like aroma-wise?

A lux-meter would be a really great thing to have - too bad they're quite expensive. I would love to have more practical knowledge about exactly how much light my plants are getting in the corners or at different light distances, reflector shapes etc..

Great to see you guys here, always nice to have new ppl stopig by your thread.

Here is a bunch of veggi shots, fruits and other stuff from the Poly GH

Tomatoes

Promerans

Peppers

Olives

Lime Tree

Lemon tree

Kiwi

Kiwi Hybrid

Here is some small chili's, they grow under one of the lemon trees.

A small Fig tree

The other bigger fig tree, the trick is not to let it grow more then 1 ft of new groth. Then you snap the branch and it will make way more figs that year, do the same next year and so on.

Regula Red chillis

Finaly the jewel of the GH, well it have been moved inside again now the best summer is over. Minimum 35 years old, dunno how old it was when it was brought. 3 new baby's have poped out, but normaly they have been broken off made into new peyotes and given away. Thats over, now they are gonna stay on the old peyote.

I so want one of yer lemmon trees. I don't know why but I've always wanted a lemon tree, but I wanted one as a gift(don't ask). I ask everybody for one every year around birthday and christmas time, and am yet to get one(my folks think I'm lying, and everyone else thinks its funny). But this year I think I'll just gift myself one. Keep on, I'll be watching.

Hi everyone!

Sagaseedman thanx mon im looking forward to try em out, they look and sound to crazy to be true. I have never seen tomatoes that size, so thats gonna be fun next year!

JustinCase I totaly understand the gifted lemon tree, I dunno what you can do to get one. Maybe try to ask for a bag of lemon's, if you collect all the seeds from a bunch of lemons you can be shure some of them will sprout. But it will take years befor thay will yeald any lemons, atleast here they need a few years to grow into a fruiting tree.

Id say a small lemon tree that will give fruit, is atleast 100 $ or more and often come with pest's as thrips, spider mite's and other unwanted liveing things. It's hard to fight in a multi culture GH, there is almost always something fruiting or flowering. Makeing it hard to use effective pesticides, so pyrethium and bug/pest soap is the only stuff used in the GH.

Good luck with the hunt for a lemon tree, if u don't start your own :) it's easy done but takes a few years to get big.

Back to topic

It's been some days since I did a update, there is starting to happen a bit in the flower rooms. Besides green plants getting bigger and bigger, they are now starting to flower and it's looking good.

Bubblegum seedlings

Nephthys seedlings

Alegria Clones in side light

In the Mother room it's also growing nicely, the new SSH moms are shapeing up very nice with out tieing anything up. Just press n bend tech or what ever you wanna call it :joint:

Finaly the SSH's veggin in the Aeroflo.

The fungi in the aeroflo seems to be really hard to fight, now I have taken a new approch to it.

Im gonna fight fire with fire!

Unknown fungi infection
I found fungi something in the water, growing on the roots

Now I don't know what kinda fungi this is, it might not be a really bad one but it don't look like the plants are super happy either :cuss:

I have a fair amount of expiriance with fungi from my education and mushroom growing in the past, so it's really surpriceing me that I can't just kill it.

What I did was I gave the root's and reservior a h202 treatment, Citric acid treatment and introduced a large amount of Trichoderma fungi spores to the reservior and bio filter. Now it's just a question of waiting to see if what fungi will win, if the plants will surviwe the "war" or if they will die.

So far the fungi on the roots look like they have reduced growing, as they are proberly fighting the trichoderma!

If anyone out there have any input on the fungi growth on the roots, a way to fight em I have'nt mentioned/tryed yet would be very nice :dueling:

I was thinking about Sodium Benzoate (Atamon) but then I remembered an old chemistry assignment - only the free Benzoic Acid is actually effective and it has a PKa value of 4.21, so you need to get close to that value for it to be effective. Googled a little - found an interesting article about it that also mentions Potassium Sorbate. It should be effective up to pH 6.5.
It's used in brewing so perhaps it can be sourced.

I'm wondering how good lemon trees from seeds are? I know apples are rarely seedstrains but rather select individuals grafted onto stems of more vigorous plants. Then again I've also found "wild" appletrees here and there on the sides of roads, probably growing from discarded apple cores, that had a very nice taste.

Thanx for the input, I'll look into it and see if that Potassium Sorbate might be something, the other one I think I need to lower the pH too much and that will harm the plants more then good is.

Lemon tree's from seeds should not be a problem, the apples are bread in a different way I belive and it's the reason why apple trees often are grafted. It's many years ago I grafted fruit trees with my grandfather, but we made apple and pear trees on the same root. So two main branches where grafted on a strong root, one apple and one pear branch and the tree would give alot more of both fruits due to the root then the original tree they came from.

...and good luck with that fungus thing..
