This Years Grow

Hey HK and others,
Yeah, in fact there's a big buck bedding in one of my grow spots. He's quit running when I show up and he's lookin kind of mean. When's rut?

I took some recent pics the other day. I knew I needed to water everywhere after I ve come back from 2 weeks vacation so I took the camera. We're getting close. 30 days and counting. 20 in some instances.

This Aurora Indica is comming along and should be ready by the 25th. This strain has become fun to grow and it finishes so early.

This Mandala 1 is maturing well and needs another 25-30 days but it seems like it will yield well.

This CongoXGG is impressive. Its bulking up and you wouldnt believe the frost on this plant. In 30 days, she'll be a beast.

Look at the frost on Sept 1!!

Back shortly with more.

There's more.

This Himalayan Gold is being difficult. I didn't take Franco's warning that this plant is a big yielder seriously enough because this plant was 9' tall until it broke over. I have some other pics to upload that shows the rest of the plant. This strain needs to be supported in some way because the stem and branches can't support the flowers that grow on them. This one broke over 4WEEKS into flower.

Here's one that is a slightly different pheno and is running a week, may be 10 days behind the other pheno that is broken over, but the delay allowed me to tie it up a bit so that it might not break over. I can access the side of this plant, I cant get around the 1 thats broken over without blowing my stealth. This ones a bit droopy, it needs water bad. Thats why I was there. She got 3 gallons and feels better.

Back with more shortly.

Hey Buddle.

The Congo has turned out to be very impressive. Its going to be finished by the third week of Sept and you just wouldn't believe the thc thats on it. Im growing 9 or 10 strains from Sensi star to Dp's white widow and this strain is the frostiest ive got. Everytime I walk up and look at it my mouth falls open at the crystals on it. It looks like its got PM or something.

This plant is actually the result of a 2nd grow. I had 3 other plants that were planted on April 28th, but near the end of june, a large, 100' tall tree fell on them and broke them. I hurridly planted a couple more seeds. One disappeared and your looking at the other one. Now that Ive seen it grow out, thank god I have a few more seeds left!!.

Your ladies look well for being ignored for 2 weeks. Make a night run to prop up that HG. She's too lovely to leave to her own devices.

My only female AI is 3 weeks behind yours, is only 4' tall and starting to branch. Carefully covered the 2 AI males, cut them down and removed them from plot. Put cuttings in glass of water and "milked" for 3 days over black paper. Small packet of desiccant added to 35mm film case. Used the pollen to cross with the NLXS. Dusted 1 branch each of the earliest to flower and the sturdiest. Will need to wait about 10 days before dusting their sister. Want these to be outdoor hardy. Have you made your own AI beans?

The NLXS started budding at different times. Works for me! Won't overwhelm me at harvest time. Looks like you will need a crew! :respect: Sprayed them all today with GreenCure. Will give them another dose in 2 weeks. We haven't had rain in over a month so when those rains finally come, the ladies will be protected.

Spread some feces (carnivore preferred) in the bucks bed. The cat litter pan solids get saved for the "next trip" to my plot. Spread it on their trails beginning at planting time near my plot. Don't need them making the "dreaded path" either. Some nasty thorny branches or a few balls of barbed wire spread around may also discourage "squatters."

Good luck to everyone this season.

Home is not where you live, but where they understand you.

Hk, he looks like he would like to get started early.

Here's my best Maple leaf indica plant. A little bondage is always a good thing in my view, so I bent the bitch over and tied her spread eagle! Just kiddin. That tomato cage you see is a 36" cage so you can see she reached about 6+ feet. I spread them out so they'll produce a bit more smoke. She's a 45 day strain a nd i usually harvest her 3rd week of sept.

This plant presents a real dilema. Its sensi star and is probably the most sativa leaning pheno ive seen out of maybe 150 SS plants or more that Ive personally grown, It just started flowering and I know the pheno to be a 70 day or longer to finish and the most potent pheno Ive ever had. The problem is that its not going to finish. This plant will finish the first of November and thats too long for my enviroment.
I have perhaps the most potent marijuana plant Ive grown in 30 years standing before me and cant do anything with it. If it wont finish, i cant grow it outdoors and Im an outdoor grower. I don't keep mothers but I have 4 clones made from it and I thought I might dust it with something that will finish but i don't have a clue as to what. I wish I new how to produce fem seeds. It would truly be a crime against humanity to let this specimen just go away. Sensi star is top quality and I know that this particular plant is one in a thousand. I hope I can figure something out.

The Sadhu back yard bucket crop has been harvested. It was a nice plant and yielded well. Its in jars. The smoke was a good solid 7 at chop but I don't rate green pot high. Lets give it 90 days to cure.

Strip naked for her final 2 days in the intense sun. Growing her became a memory shortly after taking this final photo.

Some real nice plants there cant wait to hear the smoke reports. I am really interested in the Himalayan Gold smoke report. She looks like a big girl and early finisher.
Good luck with harvest this year.
