Heya! Now your talking my language.... make sure she has 2 sisters, one for me, and one for that other dude that asked back on page 1 or 2.
Hey, it's okay to dream, right?

I actually don't live too far from Maine, so once I get my license back, it wouldn't be too far out of the way.

I've been thinking I might be better off in New Zealand though; I've got a CDL and I've heard they are actively recruiting Truck Drivers. Can't drive in the U.S. due to that D.U.I. I can say, however, that in four years as a Commercial Driver, I never had anything more than a minor fender-bender when an elderly gentleman attempted to "merge" with my DOT bumper (from a left-turn only lane) out in the NJ suburbs once.

I did make the mistake of driving a commercial vehicle once or twice my first-second year (we're talking drunk off-my-ass and raising hell on the CB radio, too). Never more that a 'wee hangover though, after that, and I never once collided with another motor vehicle. It's as much God's grace as anything, but I also believe that it was God's grace which bought me the DUI.

So anyway, yeah, I was watching this movie, "The World's Fastest Indian" today, about this old dude from New Zealand who broke the world's land-speed record back way back in the '60's or whatever. A fantastic movie. You realize at the end, however, that he's just as much of a joker as everyone else. So it's kind of sad in a way, as well.

Yes Mrs. RIGHTNOW is never hard to find. In fact I know of several locations within walking distance where she can be located.
Girls, are any of you offended by that?

good 4 you...shuttin off the "brainwaster"...some shits good tho (deadliest catch).

Yeah I like a few shows too. Mostly Stargate and Lost, but I like a little comedy and a little variety every now and then too.
Discovery channel has some good shows but they've got a pretty steady format that can get old. Did you catch any of that show where they were stranded out in Alaska? That was cool. I think I would like to visit Oslo, Norway before I was ready to move to Alaska though.

anyway sounds like you on the right trak

nothing against the computer its my addiction of choice.... never watch tv.

but i think i've taken it to far. i'm almost incapable of watching tv... its like my mind just wants to work constantly. i also notice when i wake up in the morning my mind starts going instantly. i dont' know if thats cuz i have too much caffeine in my bloodsteam or...something else. i have to consciously remember to just stretch...and not think... and relax..

i like thinking but i think maybe too much thinking isn't good for us in some ways.

That's what I do here. I work, listen, play on the net & watch TV/DVD all at the same time. Life is great, there's no time on this planet I'd rather live than now.

Listen to me jerky
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say that there are some good things on Television. You just gotta know where to look. The food network is a good place to start.

oh man I thought I was on a solo mission lol. I feel everything you said in your post, I think constantly if I'm not reading something online or in a book. The side affects of to have started wearing off, I read that when we watch t.v we produce the same sort of brainwaves as when we meditate but without any of the spiritual benefits...or in other words we get no benefit at all from watching t.v so why would we waste a good portion of our spare time watching it? life isn't a dress rehearsal....

The reason some people never shut up talking is because they start to think and it scares them! I thank god I'm not like that!!

Do you sleep much? And do you have trouble conforming to 9-5 lifestlye?

tv is good to watch movies on. that and deadliest catch.

tried to watch ice truckers or whatever and that shit sucks.

In my area, we have no cable. We can get satellite tv which is the same dealio here in the UK.

We did have the full package for a while, but out of a week, there was 10 hours of stuff I would watch. and 4 hours of that was repeats of shows getting on for ten years old, that had been shown since being new, on constant repeats. 400 channels, 24/7, and 6 hours of honest to goodness decent programming out of the lot.

I never watched it anyway so that went. We're on the INTERNET folks, it ain't hard to find the few decent shows out there here. I prefer to watch a series back to back anyway, but when I want to watch it. FUCK waiting a week for the next episode..

Most of the shows annoy the shit out of me anyway, social conditioning, dumbing down, boring shit that isn't original in any way. And these 'reality tv' shows make me want to throw my shoes through the damn box. And that would damage my shoes.

word... I think waaaaaay to much to. Its kinda a good thing though... I'm learning as long as I do something with it and put it into fuckin action. Otherwise it just goes round and round and round and round....

and that's when I also ^ hit up the food network and watch bobby flay kick some ass.
