Hi there core!
glad you like em. I just made a few macros and it seems the CT might finish a little earlier. The trichs are about 85% cloudy, 5% amber and 10% clear. She's at 59 days today. She definetely getting that ammonia smell like a lot of amnesias now that she's ripening. Together with a bit of pineapple and widow I would say.
The PC's are at about 4 and a half weeks so they still have got some time to fatten up. And looking at the other PCs around your thread they sure look promising! And the smell is heavenly too.

Still didn't come across any nanners on any of your plants ('cept the males offcourse ) and they have gotten their fair amount of moving stress and sometimes crappy dark periods (few light leeks and my timer sometimes gets it's own will). So I'm pretty sure the CT I have is herm free.

Hi there D Rock! Thanks for stoppin by and for your kind words. The Crash Test is a strain made by our good friend Core. It's a cross between Amnesia Haze and PeeWee (which is Purple Bastard x White Widow). It's really a great strain. Core also made some other seeds. Mongrul and Pollen Chuck of which he sent some to seedbay as freebies. And I'm sure people will be very surprised when trying them. You can allways stop by Core's thread for some mo info.

I chopped the Crash Test last week at 70 days of flower. She could have gotten a week more but I felt like chopping.
Here's the harvest pictures. She yielded about 40g so that not to bad for her height. The pollen chuck I have flowering now is a lower yielder then this CT pheno.
Great frost and rock hard nugs! The smell is incredible too. It's pretty amnesia dominant but it has a few extras giving it a finishing touch.

The first one is Crash Test B (no better names for the phenos yet) and it's 15 days in flower.







Next up is Crash Test C, this one is at 30 days of flower and is very very resinous. She also smells very hazy. Can't wait till she's ready.

let's start with some pics from 5 days ago.


first a lil pic of Crash Test C



Then whe have the Crash Test B at a little over 3 weeks, which has actually surprised me very much with her smell. It's nothing like the other two crash tests and really has no amnesia or haze smell at all. It's something I find hard to describe as I've never smelled anything like it but it is pretty sour smelling. When she starts booting some resin things will get more interesting. Not too much off that yet.

next are the pics from yesterday and the day before that. Well start with more of the Crash Test C at 40 days of flower.

The C pheno is a really interesting pheno. Her smell is heavenly imo and she has a lot of resin. The only downpart is the yield but I don't really care.
I pollinated her lowest branch with some pollen of my nice Banana Haze F3 (did this with the B pheno as well BTW). Again for fun, but you never now you might get something really special. The BHxCT cross I made a few weeks ago is looking very promising too btw. but more on that in a moment.

Here's the Banana Haze X Crash Test cross I was talking about earlier.
The seedlings and older plants are growing really good and I allready see some interesting phenos. Most seem to be a nice cross lying somewhere in the middle of the parents phenos. Some are a bit more on either side but mostly the CT side. (I like this hobby breeding it's really interesting and especially fun! I'll do a LOT more of this and once I start getting good at it, I'll send some freebies to the bay)

Here's the first female I found. She seems to be a nice cross and it seems like the banana haze smell has been significantly improved allready on the veggin plants.





And this one a male in a very small pot. Looks more like his dad.

hehe, actually I was hoping the same. The BH has a longer high but lacks a bit in smell and taste and doesn't really knock you off your socks. I was hoping to get this smell/taste thinghy improved, which it seems like it did and to get the more punchy high in it and keeping the duration longer. Not that I'm suspecting all this to happen but you never know. The smell seems to be significantly improved allready though.

I won't call it Crash Test II, lol. I had been thinking about a name with my mate (who's growing some of them outside) but really couldn't find any. We decided to wait untill we've had some test smokes. The imagination shoudn't have too much of a problem by then.
So know it's just Banana Haze x Crash Test.

I'm back with a little update. I've been neglecting the closet a bit for the last 2 weeks because the summer has started and I haven't been around that much. I haven't taken too many pics too in the last weeks so I'm sad too say the CT C has been harvested and I don't have pics. I do have clones so you'll get pics next time.

Here's a lil shot of what the closet looks like for the moment. Mostly clones from the CTA and PC and a few other things. As you can see there have been a few defeciencies because of my neglect.

This is The Banana Haze x Crash Test Cross at 4 days of 12/12. It's looking really sativa. A friend has a few outside which look more indica but there still smaller so it could still change.

And here we have the surpisingly different CT B at 50 days 12/12. It has no amnesia or haze smell what so ever and I think it's might be more on the Peewee side. As it reminds me a little of something I can smell in the Pollen Chuck. It does lack a bit in frost compared to the other 2 CT phenos I have and it seems like it's going to take a bit longer to finish too.
The buds are really huge for the 1.4 foot tall plant. The training method I use for this allmost allways gives me such a good yielding plant structure with allmost no crappy buds.

















That's it for now.
I'll probably won't be around as much during the next two months. But I will definetely pass regularly checking up some threads. I just won't be posting that many.

Quick update on the banana haze x crash test. It's about 5 weeks into flower

I only have one female of this cross going right now and this pheno has a really really sativa look.

A friend of mine has got 3 females of this cross which all look more like and ind/sat cross and varying between 2 phenos. A short one with thin leaves and a larger one with a bit bigger leaves. None of those are flowering yet.

This 60cm plant will probably get a 35cm cola. Maybe even bigger! This ones gonna look pretty impressive I think. The frost will probably be a little less compared to the other phenos.

The smell is mostly like the banana haze. Only a little stronger. The frost also seems to be developing better then the original banana haze.

I'd say this ones gonna be an improved version of the banana haze pheno. Not the improved version of Crash Test like Core was hoping. The only thing I don't see improved is the density of the buds. I'm pretty sure all the rest is.

But this is the only real banana pheno so far so maybe the others are more CT influenced.

Here's a few more pics of the Banana Haze x Crash Test at 49 days of 12/12. She's really becoming a big for a now 45cm high plant (about 1,5 feet) and has a hard time keeping up her cola. Foxtails everywhere and very cute buds. The frost is acceptable so far for such a sativa plant.
She totally smells like Silver Haze (as most banana hazes) but stronger.
I guessed her flowering time at 14 weeks but I think 12 might be enough but we'll see.












And here's two shots of my second Pollen Chuck pheno at 65 days. It's more indica then the last one and smells a lot better too!

Beautiful plants SS. Those sativas always look so sood with there long skinny leaves. I love the looks of a sativa over a indica anyday.

Super sexy sativas! Those bud formations, skinny leaves, foxtails,...

I totally agree D rock. I also find sativas a lot more beautiful than indicas. I've found allmost every pheno from those Banana Hazes to be very esthetical plants.
