What is taking so long? I don't upload many pictures, perhaps a few times a year because I dislike the idea of parking too many photo's on a free website eating up bandwith needlessly.

100% guilty of using space at icmag as part of my an online gallery... this is like DocLeaf's home from home ,, we drop in most mornings chat some n post some images to help us remember what we were growing 6 months a-grow :wink:

we'd be happy to contribute in any way possible to keep this facility active / alive so i's gonna go through and delete some blurred/whack images right now

,, if every dedicated ICMager does the same,, i's sure we can free up some gigabytes between us

I'm no longer able to upload images for the past week or two. Everything here seems to be OK, I've tried both of my computers, shut down security to a minimal.

I get to the browse section, pick the file(s) than instead of the browser taking me to the preview page it goes to the No more images page. Usually it would take a fair amount of time to upload my picks (dial up) but it's not doing what its supposed to do. When I check the gallery there's no changes. It looks like this is happening to a few of us?

It only took me 6 months to realize they hid the web support in the vendors section.

I have to hit the stop button (dial up) so I didn't get a chance to quote you.

I asked a Mod a few days back about not being able to upload & they said ask administration where a few PM's & contact messages went unreturned. As I mentioned I just found the web support page. So if the mods didn't know how would I. We need to get this on a new page so it's not a waste of time loading & we can seek out the info.

As I said earlier in this thread... DG and Gypsy (2 of the admins) were away for a few weeks. Kinda hard to fix something when you are unaware of the problem. I saw DG post earlier, so I'm sure in the next few days things will begin to be worked out. Relax, be patient and all will return to normal.....It's not that "Mods don't know" it's that all mods can do is move threads, edit threads, bin threads etc...we can't and do not have access to the db to fix site issues.

I wouldn't of tried to troubleshoot my computer had I been informed when I had asked about uploading images. I could of saved the messages to administration too. Now that I know it's not just me, all is well & I can wait like everyone else.

Someone already mentioned photobucket earlier. Since you mentioned it again I figure this should be posted again (what I wrote earlier in this thread).

"No kidding MyAssIsGrass...linking plant pics to sites like photobucket is kinda dumb.

1. There are people (like me) that can get into private PB accounts and there is fuskering and all kinds of other vulnerabilities.

2. The photobucket police can and DO alert law enforcement to illegal activities including drug investigations.

3. We're stoners...many of us will forget to make our PB accounts private.

I had to alert a member here on IC about 2 months ago that his photobucket was wide open. His signature was a link to his photobucket pictures. When I opened his PH page it was very revealing. I saw his face, his family and even his house numbers (and all his weed and grow pics). He freaked out and thanked me but imagine if it were someone else like LEO that found his page!! Simple slip up like that could have landed him in prison. That's why I don't fuck with photobucket."

I know what you mean about the load time. All these pics are extremely beautiful but it's taking forever to load the last few pages and I've got super warp-speed internet.

I use photobucket... But Im also not doing anything Illegal, me and me girl both have scripts and are well below our plant limit...
