Cool pheno showing up with ALF 3, looks like a treat!
Those germination times on unsoaked seed are amazing.... 16-24hrs to poke up their head?
Must be the time of the year and temperatures... The seeds are much smarter than they appear....
We've been getting huge amounts of driving rain lately as well!
I did a little roughing up of the hard, compact surface the other day in the vegie garden....
Got the ALF planted.... Had a couple good rains since then, I bet they're pulling for the sky today!

The family is over..so I haven't had much spare time.
I thought it was suppposed to be easier with Grand-children...
we were both wrecked within the first 24 hours..
and it has got harder since..

Unfortunately...no IBL male for her..but if it comes out once..it will come out again.
I was unlucky on the LowSnow..only 4 out of 10 germed.
1 died before sex..and the other 3 are all Males.
To preserve the genetic..I am hand pollenating that Purple Rusian with it.
I don't have an IBL male for her..so I might as well.

SSH that is revegging with lots of bud on her from Spring flowering.I've decided to cut the buds off and stick her in the ground.She's putting out 6" a day of new growth at least.The reason I didn't harvest before is cuz the buds weren't swelling.Trics are more than 40% amber though so down she comes..
Original diesel in the same boat but once her tue leaves came back she stayed in veg no jumping back and forth like my S99.A single leaf, then true leaves for a week and back to singles?? Any ideas or thoughts on that Mossy?

Well..I re-germed them..
and I have a nice 2ft white..(probably AK dominant pheno)
and a good purple tinged 1 ft pheno..solid packed cola
(shape says AK..but the colour is JEM..so I assume this pheno is more of a mixed cross.)
I am happy to take those two through to f2.

The carpatian I was dealing with had such airy buds, I'll have to snap a photo.... Got plenty of seed, and very little smoke.... The seeds have a space in between each other big enough to fit another seed!
A friend of mine will be checking out the cross with erocket x*danish passion indoor.... can't wait for that one....

but I didn't realise he had Hit the fabled Money Tree...
Girls are looking good despite your conditions.
Ain't it funny...some season mother nature just seems to assist you
but this season..I feel as if I am fighting her all the way.
When the kids were over the girls didn't get their normal leaf sprays and I have a real bad Red Spider attack..OUTDOOR.
and I have a caterpillar attack almost 2 months out of season.
What a year..

He he, boy that'd be a cash cropper wouldn't it..... These leaves are giant.... Never seen before in pipeline gardens.... I almost couldn't find my way to a couple of the plots last trip out things had grown so much.... Very easy to get disoriented in the pitch black dark in thick brush with a flashlight that is running out of batteries and only works for a moment when its switched on....
Talk about adventure.... Gotta love it....
Doesn't look like my leaves are nearly as insect chewed as last season when we had a pretty decent drought..... They can grow out of about anything right now...
Our weather is awesome this year.... This upcoming week will be all sun and mid 80's to around 91, and then a chance of rain a couple days this weekend.... Plenty of moisture available right now.... Talk about ideal! Somethins gonna grow....
Will try and get out to the alf/DC plots here soon, stay tuned for the update.
Carpatian was a very enjoyable smoke, despite it being so spaced out.... Nice sharp sour smell, and similar flavor... Effects were positive and somewhat clear headed.... My gal noted it was much different than the usual swag we have to smoke. I didn't snap a pic of the finished plants, they looked the same as last update....
The other veging plants in front were nearly completely shading them out, and there was a little spot of mold from the hot, humid weather, so out they came...
Even on the most sativa looking of flowers, mold can still form....
Sorry to hear about the spider mites, is that what you're talking about? Watering the leaves should take care of most of them.... Clean them underneath too... Little buggers.... Caterpillars have begun to ravage the cole crops once again.... No big surprise, they always come....
What was that lowsnow?.... Did I miss out or just forget....
Man, how great would it be if we were able to freely grow these plants... We'd get to choose the best out of 1000 instead of 10.... Our breeding efforts would likely be more efficient....
We've got what we've got though....
Oh yeah, down to 3 DC now.... Bertha has been dug up partially, but then we fixed her and next trip out she was way bit off and shaded by the b3/n7 x erdpurts as tall as me! There will be plenty more DC in the future that can be assured....

mossy, my good friend. How are you doing man? Getting old... I'm feeling tired. I had some medical issues recently. I had some problems with my digestion, went to the doctor and did some tests. Thankfully I don't have Irritable Bowl Syndrome... just overactive acid production. I got some medication I take a couple times a day and all is well again.
Anyways, I hope all is well with you and your family.
Interesting to see what ALF has become. So whats the goal? A purple WR? That would be pretty cool.

Best thing that has worked this side is drinking pure aloe vera juice.
Much better than prescription gear...
but it is a labour of love because it tastes DISGUSTING..

mossy, I've tried aloe vera gel and juice (gel is the worst), but alas my illness is at an extreme, so they just didn't cut it. I take about 8x the normal dose for antacids a day and that handles it, but anything below does not. I'm a natural guy at heart, but sometimes we have to turn to man made medication.

Its been a great growing season, I bet many gardens are growing tall.

I was seriously thinking about building a poly tunnel this year... We have plenty of PVC and rebar.... Even have the polly.... Cooling is a huge issue.... They have to be adjustable.... Ended up putting up the cold frame.... Worked quite well....
I would imagine the herb would outgrow your poly pretty quickly.... supercroping or not...
Ahhh it would need to be opened for heat anyway.... It would be great though to have something to protect them from the weather, we had nickel sized hail this year.... Somewhere I have a photo of a commercial spanish poly tunnel..mesh sides and retractable plastic roof. Probably just bug protection and wind baffle rather than heat retentive like the UK ones have to be.
