^^^^ DAMN RIGHT! That's how you do it on a budget!

Get out the drill and correct drill bit and go to town.... Will work just as good.

I really don't know what type of setup I'm torn between hydroton with a bubble system.
or
Do a coco coir with a drip system?
I read a thing on this guy that did a test.
coco coir did the best with weight
hydroton seem to produce more triches

Nugs every freakin-where,LOl.Nice growing man.How does c99 do here in the south outdoors?

Thanks alot! I dont really know how well it does because i had someone discover my C99's that were outside and they poured diesel on them and destroyed em! They were very nice sized bushes though and they were growing in a 18 gallon rubbermaid container! They were gonna be frickin huge though.

I might give it a try again but i must find another location!

If you take the time to set-up a coco drip system (that works properly)....you will be a happy stoner.

Once it's set up and running right, you really don't have to do much except make sure that your rez is topped off and do an occasional rez nute change.
Go out of town for a few days, and you don't have to worry about watering plants.

The drawback to this system is if you are growing multiple strains.....some might want more or less nutes than you have in the rez.

With the dwc bubblers, you just have more containers to top off/ change nutes in....but can "dial in" each specific plants nutes.

Both work well.

I have used recirculating dwc (bio-buckets), stand alone bubblers, organic soil and most recently made the switch to coco.

I like the coco, it's an inert medium and is re-useable.

Veg growth rates in dwc and coco blow away soil by a long shot.

I haven't flowered in the coco yet, so I can't comment on that just yet.

Hope this helps.

Pick one method and grow that shit! :joint:

Don't know how I missed this post!

Fine job man! :joint:

Fruity ass C-99 buds all over.....gotta love that!

I personally think that growing sog takes alot more "balls" because of the sheer numbers.

Nice work. :rasta:

I don't know how well that would work.

I've been hand watering my plants in coco.

I used hydroton in the small net pots, 3.5 inch with the stand alone bubblers (buckets or tubs)
Lava rocks in the big net pots, 10 inch with the recirculating bio-buckets.

I'm probley gonna do the 3.5nch with 1 gallon buckets/bottles, with hydroton.

The only way I can get arm sized cola's is if I use my 400watt in this small closet. But can't because its kinda too open to everyone in the house.

Like soulfly said....you can call Urban Organics. They should have what your looking for, but they're going to be expensive.

I'm not exactly sure but i really think it was Urban Organics that turned a guy in after he had just spent 3000 bucks with them.

If the owner is a older guy then it was urban Organics. I would give Laughing budda nursery a shot first. I'm gonna have to try to find that article again but i'm almost positive it was urban organics.

The guy from Laughing buddha is the NARC..... That's a known fact.

Could be that Urban Organics has turned as well.... Don't know for sure.

That's the reason that I don't go to either one of them! Order your stuff online and have it sent to a safe addy.

I go to this place called The Garden Spot, thats just around the corner. Gonna go check up and see if they have any rock wool, hydroton, and netted pots. If not I guess the ordering online is gonna have to do. Also need a ph pen. :noes:
And nutes. Going with PBP grow and bloom + Cal+Mag+Liquid karma.

Anyone suggest anything else I should add that will pump up the flavor+potency+weight? I looked at the Botanicare line are any of the additives they got worth getting?

I've used Botanicare's Hydroplex. I didn't notice a big difference to tell you the truth...

Botanicare's nutes are good stuff, but I stayed away from the "additives" except a quart of "Blast Off" and the hydroplex bloom booster.

If you can....buy the nutes locally.

Having mostly organic nutes shipped at this time of the year, could be bad news.

With the heat, I'd be worried about them getting to hot during shipping and maybe going bad. I don't honestly know if the heat would make them spoil....but wouldn't want to take that chance.

They do go bad after awhile anyway.....Not a real long shelf life on these after being opened.

I just had some PBP bloom that went bad on me....nearly fuct my grow.... still had almost 1/2 a gallon left in it. The jug was about a year old and had been kept in a cupboard that was under 80F.

I think that if I would have kept them in the fridge, it would have helped to make them last longer.

So don't buy a whole shit ton more than you need! :joint:
