I put a couple of Double Strawberry Diesel plants and one Jack Herer plant (verified females) into the flower tent a couple of days ago, so they will be up next for pics, will prolly take pics of them along the way here too, as I have discovered since starting this thread that I really like having dated pics to track progress. I was lazy about that before.

I always dug the work Chimera was doing, fan of the citrusy plants here and you are totally right- that Cali looks 'classic' should finish squat and with some dense spears for you.

Those DSDs look like stretch pretty sativa growth charateristics with the internodal spacing. You gonna top them or just keep training/trying em down?

edit- missed you just threw the diesels in flower- how much do you expect them to stretch? and where are those JH from? also look lovely. also forgot to mention how fine you finished those K2 and HB...

About the DSD.. Both plants have hermed from the beginning of 12/12

I don't know what to make of this as they haven't been stressed and there are no light leaks. In the tent so far I've run the K2, Ultra Haze #1, and Hashberry without any problems, and both Jack plants are fine too.. They are White Label, btw.

I recall a thread about gradually reducing the light to 12/12, and I think other Rez strains were mentioned as being receptive to the method, so I will run the rest of the DSD seeds I have and try that at some point.

So yeah the DSD are about to get the chop, and are only alive because I have been in a state of semi-denial about it for a couple of days. Was going to keep them pretty much as is though, and string up the main cola for support if necessary based on the stretch, same for those Jack Herers.

Oh yeah.. Soaking right now are 6 White Label Double Gum seeds and 6 Nirvana Ice seeds as well, so they will be up next! I will likely skip the seedling pics on these unless someone asks.

Easy Mr. Bongjangles.

The Hasberry and K2 looks fabolous mate. Smoked some of that K2, but that was like in 2000 when i spent a week in the dam.

I also notice that ya got some Double Gum seeds kicking off. I flowered some in Nov last year and was well impressed. I took clones but did'nt have space to flower on my last grow as i have down sized (5 lights (1400w) to one 250w,shame i miss it). But my current grow contains Double Gum. They have been in 12/12 for just over 2 weeks and started to show pistils 10 days after inniating 12/12. Hopefully there done with their stretching.

I'll get some pic's up, once i get a new camera....

OK I have been a bit lazy again about updating my thread, but everything is looking good.. Upgraded a bit, so now the veg area has its own tent and the flower area has a slightly larger tent, which gives me some breathing room on the sides and will let me throw a 4x4 tray in there to make hand watering easier. Heh for now the Jack Herer's got too big to throw a tray in but I will eventually.

Update, June 24th..

Romulan & Calizahr:



I took down a few of the Calizahr & Romulan plants last night that were showing male pre-flowers, though was a bit disappointed none of the rest were showing any female pre-flowers. Down to 5 plants now, and will transplant them into 3 gallon pots here tonight most likely.

Here's some clones I was most generously given.. Some nice strains, Black Domina being one:



They're hanging out in my improvised extra space on the floor of the veg tent, as they were an unexpected blessing.

Here's the Double Gum and Ice seedlings making their pictorial debut:



11 in the picture, 6 Ice and 5 Double Gum, but one of the Ice is kind of a mutant there on the far right.. Thinking about throwing that one into 12/12 when the others go to the veg tent. Couple days to think about it.

Very nice looking plants you've got Mr. B. I too just finished up some Hashberry and it's very relaxing. The descriptions on Mandala's website are spot on too which is great. Keep up the good work.

Update.. 7/2/08..

OK time for the bad news.. 6/6 Calizahr plants turned out male

Not happy about this, but I have high hopes for the remaining 6 seeds hehe. Sadly, the poisonous Hydrohuts got my Mountain Jam seeds last year, and now no females with the Calizahr.. I wonder if the universe just doesn't want me to enjoy some fine Chimera smoke.

haha i also understand now why most of the grow diaries start in flower.. What a buildup with no delivery! Sorry friends, especially you HappyTree.. Dude maybe we can do the side by side one down the road afterall though hehe.

On the plus side, 3/4 Romulan turned out female, so at least I'm not entirely out in the cold here.

I also started some GHS Cheese 12/12 from seed and they have just begun to flower. Impressed with the size they put on before making pistils..

I agree with you 100%! Most impressed with how the Hashberry matched the extensive description from Mandala. IMO, they clearly know how to breed for a specific high, and how to describe it well.

I have a Mandala Safari Mix pack I will prolly run in a few months, and I intend to use that as a roadmap to my future Mandala explorations.

Hey again DH! Yeah, I am stoked on the Romulan, but your enthusiasm is infectious and I am even more stoked to see what they do, thanks man. One is branchy and the other two are not and very similar, so hopefully those will be alternate phenos, as i love variety. They are getting some late LST action today, and I will get some pics up of them soon so we can watch them do their magic.
