put em closer to the light. if not enough light is the problem it should be easy to fix. satori is pretty easy to grow. she doesnt ask for much.

watch for hermies. i just had one herm on me. strange but true.

Its really hard to tell by your description... Can you give some more details of your setup? POMH has a thread as a sticky up on top with some questions you can cut and post in here so we can get a better idea of whats going on...

Also how long has it been since you have sprouted your seeds and put in soil, till now? I'm subscribed to your thread.. so i will always be watching ;)

well looks like ill get ousted for the amature I am, also let me say thank you for the attention it is VERY appriciated.

they where planted roughly (giver or take 2) 6 days ago. took most 3 days to sprout (I have (5 now, still expecting to see about 7 more) 5 are safari mix freebies 10 are satori. One satori seems to have died before it got true leaves probally low water.

the water is distilled through fairly primative means, I'm working on a nice one but I'm waiting on my bro to bring a pot (cant bring myself to pay 15$ for somthing I can get free) ill post the DIY as I do it since it is fairly simple and only requires a drill I belive it will be appriciated (I digress alot, oops)

they are currently under 1 4x watt warm white CFL thats about half a foot above them. 1 natural 32 wat cfl thats nearly 1.5 feet above them and another 32 wat natural light that is 1.5 above them and a good 1foot off to the side (the other two are directly over)

there is 1 oscilating fan that I put in today, the box is 3x2x2 wood.

Currently no ventilation but I open the box 3-5 times a day min. It feels a tad humid when I open it.

Tempurature 74+ I keep my house at 74 I dont own a thermometer... I should.

further on the water no nutrients added

they are in a few ounces of dirt in a small cup, I will probally need to transplant them soon but I need to find somthing to put them in, i'm thinking I will bog them to party cups (the red ones)

Soil is meijers potting mix.

they are watered roughly 1 Tablespoon of water a day, sometimes a bit less (this IS an estimate)

Out of the 5 my two oldest have what seems to be the start of a problem.

One is in damp soil, oops, the tips of its first 2 true leaves are blackened and slightly cupped (i used to grow not weed plants but the senior farmer was sorta an idiot so my knowledge is suspect!) the eldest seedling that is a staori has sligtly yellowed leaves there still in good shape but yellowed at the very tips (1-2 millimeters worth) they still seem to be growing and the yellowed one also seems to be working on its 2nd set of leaves (yay) god I hope this is detailed enough... if I left somthing out ill be happy to provide it. again thank you for the concern, it seems the people we are told are scoundrles and criminals are some of the few people who legitimatly care for strangers... oh the dregs of society eh!

ha just remembered!

the light is 24/7 and i water them around noon, i used to do it around 10 but i started sleeping in. Umm okay I think that is all now :)

Can you elaberate on this? This could be something big... do you use tap water or store bought water?

as long as you have a light directly over them, like withen inches.. the more wattage the better, your good on light.. but all those lights may be causeing heat issues...

Ok now I'm convinced you are having ventilation issues, causing humid and hot stagnant air... This can definitely cause this if it is drying out your soil to fast... you need to keep constant fresh air running through your box. your box is very small. So it will just need a little volume transfer.

further on the water no nutrients added

No nutrients till probably the 3rd to 4th set of leaves and internodes.. or the slightest look of pale yellow. Keep her moist, with 50 percent Humidity, with lots of air transfer.

You wont need to transplant them for another 2 maybe 3 weeks max... then it will develop a nice root ball... let her grow a few internodes first...

Ok my suggestion to these is 2 things. I believe you may have a problem with your water, rather its PPM, or PH, causing a effect on your plants.. ANd or Soil.... Seems to be a lot of this going around. And honestly was one of the first things i had an issue with and took me a while to know its my tap water.

2. I believe you are not getting enough air to your plants, thus causing them not to have a good dry to wet ratio. You want it to dry out, but still keep it moist in this stage. dry wet cycle. With a fan and or air, you let the soil "breath" 1 table spoon of water is not going to cut it. If they are in cups. Soak the whole thing. Let it dry out in 1 to 2 days. then soak it again.. keep a lid over the plant to keep it humid.. with holes of course... maybe for a few hours a day.. or a wet towel in the room.. or a bowl of water.. to keep the humidity up. but AIR MUST FLOW!

If you can check the PH of your run off water. And what type of soil are you using? You need to know how hot it is getting in your box. I sure hope you have a thermometer, and a humidity reader.
if I left somthing out ill be happy to provide it. again thank you for the concern, it seems the people we are told are scoundrles and criminals are some of the few people who legitimatly care for strangers... oh the dregs of society eh!

Its amazing how many great friends i have made on this website, and yet have never seen there faces. We have a very strong willed, soldiers willing to risk there freedom, to live a life they deserve, and not be governed by this fascist police state of a country we live in.

There are not to many people out there who really care anymore that is the problem.

Take Care

okay ill work on the airflow today and the thermo meter too, i guess I do need one :(

the water is currently disttilled this way: I boil water and I have a convex thing over it so the condensation drips in the center, I catch the drips in a diffrent bucket.

since I boil it at a low temp setting I should be getting mostly just water slightly under 7 ph. I dont have anything to confirm this though.

My distiller should be upgraded soon to a copper drip pipe, though this will only make it more efficent and less labor intense.

I will leave the door open to the box today and put in a cup of water to up my humidity, though I belive it may be high b/c I have roughly 20 other plants in a dwc (not weed, vegys and herbs) and that thing is letting off alot of water vapor. guess Ill get a thing and find out some numbers.

edit, oh and they are not in drinking cups they are in little pots that probally are the size of a shooter glass.

thank you for the help again!

for claritys sake. the brown pots have the weed in it. in the back is a tomato and pepper plant growing in a window planter, they need a new home. and to the right is a 11 site dwc experiment that more or less is an unkept jungle or cucumber broccoli strawberrie tommato pepper parsley basil and zuccini.

Ok yeah you may want to transplant them very very carefully into a party cup. I uses those they are the best for starters. Yes you need to get your meters so we can get some accurate numbers and create a optimal environment for these babies. This is a small area you are working in so it will take a bit more work, but well worth it in the end. Your distilled water worries me. See the less PPM your water has, the more of a PH flux. Read this thread. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=92551

okay ill work with some tap water for now however it has a ton of white shit in it (calcium?) it eventually goes clear though. tommrow I should know the ph ect and ill take a look into some transplanting, I got those brown grow through cups so if I understand correctly I wont have to do anything but place them in more dirt.

Got a thermo meter, I came in at 85F and 57% humidity with the newish setup

aim for 78f

dont over water the high temp of 85 with over watering will really rot the roots fast,, dont let the soil stay soggey,,,,

if you transplant them they will be able to handle the heat slightly better due to bigger root mass.

when u open cab does air seem stale and heavy, like somewhere you dont wanna be???

where do u plan to flower????

tip in ur pics problem is camera is focusing on the dirt and not seedling try backing up a little or turn the camera to a setting called macro if it has it,,, might look like a little flower.

macro setting on

macro setting off and just stood backa little
