Milo- Don't worry; the love is being passed around like a second-string cheerleader with a self-image problem.
My buddy Stoned Cold has some, including a cut of the SBB male I believe, and a BUNCH of other friends in the Northeast region run the stuff too, but aren't into the internet scene.

But anyhow, working through these issues the best that I can, and so for i've found some interesting phenos. One looks similiar to the bogbubble, one is heavy on the bluberry smell, and one smells like straight up candy and is soooo sticky already at week 4. Plus ended up with a fat stemmed male that smells phenomemal (only lifesaver plant ive grown to ever stink up my house, considering I havent had to use a Cfilter with the saver yet). Got a few others going but they havent shown anything special yet. Should have another cam around harvest to post pics!

Well that harvest is done and almost gone already!!! I took plenty of cuttings and I have another 10 lifesavers in the closet flowering as I type. Heres some harvest shots of a few of the more interesting phenos I found...

First the BogBubble pheno.. Didnt take cuttings and the reveg process isnt going to well ...














Next a sour blueberry pheno which i cloned the shit out of... Smells so good!!










And a greasy citrus lemon pheno that proved very potent, but I couldnt keep...










Ill post some Dried/Cured shots tommorow!

Doing the best I can with what little space I have... Eventually F3's will be made as well as some interesting crosses (just picked up my old cut of Female Seed Co. C99 from my buddy) for the freebie program. Please note that I am just a small time closet grower so this may/will take a while, so please be patient. Thanks

First off, Southwind, I am glad you are doing better. Being sick sucks, and fighting it is always a tiring battle so build your strength as required.

I have a selfish question and don't know how to sugar coat it, but I have to ask if you guys understand.

Several years back I grew the candy pheno of the lifesaver and did not clone it due to not knowing it was so special. I had 6 seeds left. I sprouted these last six seeds and got 4 females 2males and of course.....the males died mysteriously. Honest. None of the 4 females are of a candy nature. They are all still good, but all have a semi skunky, musky smell/flavor.

Anyways, I read this thread a few times and a few times again, but can't figure out if the goal of this project is to preserve Bog seeds just to have them or is it to donate the resulting eggs to G and D to help preserve?

I am asking because I wanted to know if any of the seeds will be sold on auction or otherwise. I would love to see the candy lifesaver and donate the bog strains I have to Gypsy and Dutchgrown if this is how it works.

Sorry if Im all wrong...just had to ask.

to paraphrase : we do not talk about trading , or giving out seeds on the site.

I will probably DONATE [Which I think IS allowed] these seeds to Gypsy in the future for "requested Freebies" IF Gypsy and Dutchgrown are okay with that.

The main purpose is to preserve BOG seeds for EVERYONE.

So I am doing what I can to make that happen.

Hey there Southwind. I thought i would chime in here. I have kept my eye on BOGs buds. The ones posted here on this site. They all look very tasty, and covered in resin. I just never got around to ordering them. After Bog left the scene (as far as i know), i thought my chances of getting some of the bog genes was nil. Well around January of '07 I talked to a friend who got some seeds from Bog himself. My friend is not a grower, and handed them right over to me... I since then have started the eight seeds i got from him, and found a Male keeper, and a female keeper. Out of the eight seeds, i got two retarded plants that didn't want to bud out correctly. Then Six of the more "Sativa / Indica" type phenos turned hermaphrodites around week 4. The two left where almost Identical in every way Male and Female. So i kept the male pollen and impregnated the female. I also spread the pollen over a few other select genetics i had in my inventory... so we'll see what happens next. My friend told me the Genetics where BOG sourbubble. He didnt know if they where BX1 or ??? just said that Bog told him they where sourbubble seeds. The pheno i kept was a small Indica looking plant. similar to og kush looking flower and leaves. It didnt grow very fast, or suck up nutrients fast either, but it looks like its gonna finish in 50-55 day time frame. I know you prolly want to see a picture hehehe.. Well, i'll have to get to work on that.. Maybe i'll do a smoke report (when its done) and post pics there...
