Capt. The other sisters were comparable, except for the one Bubba Kush-looking pheno that pewp mentioned. The Bubbe Kush-looking pheno was discarded because it was not what I was looking for. It was cool, but very low yielding and in a totally different vein than the FFA and some of her other sisters.

I think I have some pics of FFA's sisters in here somewhere, let me see...

This is the Purple Bubba-like pheno that didn't make the cut.

Hehe, no, I was only going to keep one sister, and FFA was it. That's about as simple as it was. At the time I collected the FFA, I was in the process of downsizing my clone collection... a process which can take a year or more in a perpetual setup. It's a lucky thing I collected anything at all since I was on a mission to simplify at that time.

Not fuely, really. It's funky, but without getting very skunky. When you compare it to the whole Chem line, Sour, and the OGs, you have a hard time telling what it came from because it's not like those at all in the taste, it's got it's own angle, hard to put into words, but DAMN tasty. Nice and narcotic for the body. It's hard to describe because I haven't smelled this particular smell profile before. Let's put it in simple terms... of everything I grow, I look forward to smoking FFA as much as anything in the garden, even if it's hard to describe. :smile:

Hey all ,sorryi havent got back to the thread sooner.Lost(sqaushed) some clones and seedlings(lost 9 total) and im so mad icould just freak.Didnt lose the FFA's they are lookin fine already.I lost some SFV Kush Krypto seedlings,some SourBubble,1 SSH x OG A,and the worst which just makes me so mad is the newly lookin sweet ChemD that ive nbeen wanting so much,fuckin asshole i am.A 4 ft flouro fell out of the fixture onto a whole row of cuts seedlings and broke the bulb all over and killed stuff.I have Moms of everything but the seedlings and the CD which just rooted and was just puit into the main Veg room.Anyways,lol,im pissed and just didnt post up these.But here are the two that didnt get smashed(thanks thanks thanks ),lookin good and just topped and stinkin.Peace.

peaville>> your day sounds very similar to mine.. i was gifted some rare genetics through an intermediate source,, and on short notice i had to setup a quartine are for them... little to behold 3 days into the setup my light crashed down on the clones and broke alot of stems complete and past repair>>however upon inspection i found a couple mites a mite larvae... so i bagged em all up and trashed em... somethings are a GODSEND>>hoepfully none of those little buggers will find their way into the mother rooms>>>fingers,,toes,, and testicles crossed on that one>>i am NOT ready for another mite war..

Alright, this isn't easy because it's sort of a unique taste, but here goes... ummm, imagine Sour Diesel without the sharp skunkiness, and with a touch of berry. Damn, it's not easy to put into words. Sexual? hehehe It's sort of like a cousin to skunk, without smelling of skunk. The smell is IMMENSE, pungent, skunk is in there, but as a side note. I tend to smell a definite berry undertone in there, too.

When I have FFA, it becomes my #1 choice of smoke as long as I have it. It's the only herb I've ever hoarded in a secret place to make it last. Even breaking it up to smoke is fun, those bulbous calyxes crumble under my fingertips, and I can't help but smell my fingers before smoking the joint.

Anyone else wanna take a crack at describing the smell?

Holding a jar of it here, I totally agree w/hording it. As far as the smell.... the super skunk is prominent in mine, as is the kush. It has a spiceyness too it, almost similiar to AK-47 imo. I just caught this go by my nose for a brief two seconds, and i dont have anything out besides the FFA.

Ground up... well ground up is really a treat. Its indescribable really... has sort of a ECSD smell, but its more hashy? or earthy... i dunno.

Although i also notice some sort of berry tone too it seems... not blueberry, but more of a romberry.

Smoked;

skunk is again a bit noted, but the earthy taste is very nice , earthy is really the best way i can describe it, i wouldn't say its really like anything else I have ever had, its complex like SSH, even a bit hashy..., and bold. It expand's in your lounges, a bowl full this morning had me coughing snot out my nose.... good sign right there, as i dont normally cough much. I was so damn stoned for like 30 mins after i just sat there.

This is a great strain for spine pain, doesn't work so well for muscle's...

Maybe its just my tolerance, but i can smoke multiple bowls, or a joint and still be fully functional, yet nearly completely pain free.
