Got me some FFA Today

Just got me two cuts of the FFA Today and it was a great present to recieve,and boy,even as cuts,when i opened the bag it stunk like crazy .They are in the dome already and will be goin under a 400 MH after they go in cups then on to underneath two 600 HPS's.Heard nothing but great things and im all gung ho about this girl,lol.Im gonna throw one in with my first Coco grow,and see how she does,and the other in Pro-Mix .Thank you .Peace and stay safe,DancesWithWeed

yeah man........she stinks! It will stretch on ya and want to have long spacing between nodes. Looks like ECSD kinda in veg and in flower kinda too.....more slender leaves tho. Very dense nugs with big calyxes that reek for sure. Heavy narcotic smoke IMHO as well. I have my mother flowering done in 2 weeks or so and some cuts about 4 weeks in. Good score.

I thought that was chemd.............the flash kinda hid it a bit.

Now the chemd is another favorite of mine. A good buddy just finished one off and pulled and easy 2z from a crop that averaged a zipish each. Easily made our lb per light easy with a couple chemd in thurrrrr. Great astringent taste and smell............the smell translates well into the smoke. Kickass stone I must say.......although very similar in taste with the ECSD i can see a place for it as a keeper in my garden.

I may even keep the ffa after seeing the chunk my buds put on this past week.....they stayed small for a bit and colas are not east to get imho on the FFA.....I may keep a clone from the ones for outdoor just cuz of its unique "funk" it has. Super stinky bud.

Nice. My wife has smoked every plant I have grown, and she likes FFA the best so far.

FFA is stinky stuff, it has a unique stank to it. One of the really cool things about it is the way it looks. Massive calyxes on a Sour Diesel-like stalk. Another cool thing is... it finishes FAST compared to the Sour Diesel.

Oh yeah...and the high is outstanding too. Can't forget that.

good score indeed I was gifted a few cuts as wel andI l have them vegging out.. my god does she reek i think more than my diesels did.......that smoke is killer put me on my ass..lol

nice guys! i love to see the East doin big things - i used to live in nj ( and go back once in a while) and moved out West because i was sick of getting arrested for a damn pipe - now happily medical patient ! its funny out West we dont see aaaaanything like the Hazes back east - yet when i was living out east we never saw good Kush - GREAT diesel - where as heh, out west sooo many people say they got the diesel its nothing like the true Diesel from NY

I haven't spent a dime on HT in forever

Well, there are a lot of HT haters out there, and I can see why sometimes. The repeating of previously published articles is lame, but I haven't seen that in a while now. One of the reasons I write for them is to provide new stuff for them to publish so they don't have to call on those old articles.

And the fake bud ads are probably the most controversial aspect of the mag... well... I can shed some light on that in the following anecdote:
I once started a newspaper from scratch, it was an arts & entertainment rag dealing with everything from local concerts and artists to national artists, art shows, theater, etc. I started it with a mere $400, and within a year we relocated to a prominent office overlooking the area's largest daily newspaper's office. Within two years we were approached by a large daily newspaper who wanted to acquire my newspaper. We struck a deal and a few months later we were delivered directly into more than 13,000 homes.

Now, I said all that because none of it would have been possible if I turned down certain advertisers. There were a couple of casinos who liked to run prominent ads on the inside of the front cover, and on the back cover. They paid big money, every single issue. This money was the bread and butter of my newspaper, as it is for most magazines and newspapers. So, from experience I know that HT runs those ads because they are the bread and butter. If there were another company who could pay for that space every issue, I bet HT would go for it... but I know from experience that there aren't too many companies willing to shell out the big ducats every issue, year after year to get that space.

So here's the reality of the publishing industry, and HT in particular... It costs BIG MONEY to run and print a magazine or newspaper, and without the money that these fake bud ads bring in, HT might not be able to bring you even a single article or picture of/about pot. So sometimes you just need to flip past the fake bud ads and understand that the rest of the mag would be impossible without the money to pay the printer. They're just doing what they HAVE to do, not necessarily what they want to.

I hope that helps shed some light on the realities the magazine folks face. And let's not forget what mag started the WHOLE ball rolling. They are a cultural treasure, motivating three generations to grow and smoke, and an important part of this community's history.

Yeh,no matter what,theres hardly a grower that didnt cut there teeth on HT.Theres things i dont like about HT ,but if theres good informative articles,i will check it out,just havent seen much when browsing lately.Cant wait for this one though,gonna be a good read.Peace and stay safe,DancesWithWeed
