Most Worthless Sportscasters on the Planet

Ok, so every sportsfan has a few sports broadcasters/analysts that they can't stand. I'm here watching the NBA pregame, and I am forced to sit through Stu Scott, so rather than just bitch about how much I can't stand him, I figgured I'd start a lil interactive action....

The 5 sportscasters that force me to either turn off the sound, or change the channel are (in no particular order):

Stu Scott
Joe Buck
Bob Costas
Bill Walton
Most of the local Homers from the NBA league pass local broadcasts. I am spoiled to get the NY teams, because most of the broadcasters are the best at what they do.

I don't know how old you all are but having had lived through Howard Cosell I know there can be NO OTHER nearly as bad as that BS artist. btw, John Madden ranks a VERY close 2nd to Cosell imo.......

LEE CORSO: And his stupid mascot heads.

BILL WALTON: Dumb as as brick!

JOHN MADDEN: Knows the game but, goofy as hell.

BRENT MUSBERGER: Drama Queen. Anyone that would let a fat old man ("Jimmy the Greek" ) bitch slap him needs to be baking cookies with Martha Stwert and should not be allowed in sports at any capacity.

LOU HOLTZ: The guy slurres his speach and you cant understand a word he says.

TIKI BARBER: He sould have quit whinng and kept playing because he sucks as a commentator and would have a Super Bowl Ring.


TONY KORNHISSER: Need I say More?


JIM ROME: Enough already! Your mad at people in sports. We get it!

BRANT GUMBLE: AKA Kermit the Frog. He made the Dallas vs. Green Bay game almost unwatchable.

STWART SCOTT: AKA Carlton Banks fron the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. " Hater in the house!"

BOB COSTAS: Lame & Gay.

And last, but not least. Gone, but not forgotton DENNIS MILLER: SI really missed it on that cover story when they said that Dennis Miller was going to save Monday Night Football.

Kornheiser would have made my list for MNF, but I like him on PTI.

The public spoke on D.Miller.

Brent and Bryant - great adds. I haven't watched CBS since the eyeball started watching me, so they haven't completely gotten on my nerves yet.

Van Gundy and Mark Jackson - I really like those guys, but I am from NY broadcast area, and got to love Van Grumpy as a coach, and Jackson as a player and nets broadcaster opposite Marv (fuk the haters Marv, keep bitin')

I think that the chick that was calling the early round games (color) Is pretty good. She is the first chick that I can watch the game, and not think "Somebody shut her up....". Probably because she sounds so far from hot.... Don't get me started on Susan Waldman (Sp?) OR YES' Michael Kay.....

Reggie is a rookie, he gets a pass for now because he threw the choke sign to Spike Lee.

Madden is a blabbering idiot, but he knows the game, and I like his voice for whatever reason. Kinda like Walton, but different.......

I don't watch college basketball except for the tourney, so Dickie V gets a pass. I may of considered him or Billy Packer in April.

Joe buck and Bob Costas - Shills. Slammalamadingdong. Rode MJ's d1ck for 15 yrs. I wanted to like joe buck, his father is a legend. I wish troy would go all roid rage 1 day and throw Buck to the people. Or McCarver, they both hate him.

Ben Wright was the greatest announcer in golf untill chicken shit CBS bannished him after 23 years for telling the truth when he said that all the lesbians on tour were making it difficult for the LPGA to get sponsors and hurt the ratings. Oh, and his comment about womens tits getting in the way of their swing didnt help him any either. I liked ole Ben Wright, he was great!

I will agree that Cosell was an icon in his time but he didn't know jack shit about any one sport in depth, he was a 'color man' for whomever he was broadcasting for (ABC Sports mostly) because of his unique voice. Cosell played the devils advocate quite often, bouncing various and varied opinions into the same conversation because he didn't know enough about either side of an issue to have a firm stand of his own to back up.

IMO, Mohammed Ali made Cosell's career what it was, Ali loved to banter with Cosell for whatever reason and that drew him into the spotlight even more.

Haha I think Jeff Van Gundy is hilarious! Although Mark Jackson is a little lame he is alright...Reggie Miller is really the worst. Doug Collins is decent too.
