howdy ic....2nd run useing vertical lighting, I trialed this idea about 6 months ago with room for improvement.

I be useing a simple self activated drip system in a coco/compost meduim (3 uk gallons per plant) if im happy with results this run ill arrange a one strain grow for after summer.

Hardware 1.2m growtent, 8 in extraction, inteli lightrail pulling a vertical bulb threw a pulley 10 inches, im currently vegging with a static vertical 600 but will activate the motion end of this week.

rez is set at lowest plants requirements and rest individually handwatered to meet there differing needs>>>> formulex at 450ppm

testing a few seed strains > chronics revenge and powerplant

and some long time keepers > dj shorts bluemoonshine, spacequeen,ak47 cherry pheno, armeggedon 1159 and bogs lifesaver :headbange

cheerz for looking in, updates as they progress

Damn man, you got it all figured out in here

This should be interesting, but do you think the light will get too hot next to the plants, I was having so many problems with heat I had to cool tube mine

nice idea with teh fan right below the light, will cool the light area and circulate the air well

Thankyou for showing the interest guys!

That could be an issue come summer time with a static bulb, if id not already had the rail, I had my eye on one of the metre long cool tubes that can run 2 x 1000 watts, but ive big over kill on the extraction at 1000m3sq and another 700 if required, in the last attempt, keeping the bulb moveing up and down 10 inches, 8 inches from buddage had things at a constant 27c. If conditions allow ( as im approaching the hottest part of the year) il step up to 1000 or even jacobs ladder (with chain) another 600, which will illuminate 5 to 6 feet high.

I really wish id have set a single strain for this grow as i can see quite a bit of training and tinkering with nutrient requirements , but as i didnt intend running any lights till late september im not to stressed in haveing to hit yeilds.....im sure it will come with practise sooner or later.

a few of the strains can be seen in a recent grow linked in my signiture for referance.

I really appreciate the input ppl, bests with your projects

updates when possible.

I would be interested in hearing more about your drippers when you get it all dialed in
I am looking towards fully automating my room in the very near future, but your area is looking good, lots of potential in there, cant wait to see some serious bud shots come out of there

hi again dr..im not sure if live external links are allowed? but if you do a google search for 'tropf blumat' theres plenty of information on there use.

few pics I took while I checked humidity levels.

good to have you along primo....as the summer heats on my room again with a south faceing window :cuss: ive had to upgrade the bust louvre fan under the lamp with a 6in rk....main extractor running at half speed to hold me some reasonable humidity around the 50% mark, ive also replaced the lifesaver which was far to squat to run with the other strains in the room and is residing im my backyard for a future project.

The replacements untested from seed, chronics revenge 2 (as is the PPP from DP) so ive gotta keep a close eye on these two threw the grow.

rooms now been in bloom 20 hours after an initial 24 blackout to kick them in, let the nute juggling commence :headbange

howdy jg, ive had sb invigerator and a small shot of formulex in the humidifier up to a few days ago, our mutual friend fresh called in for a toke and kindly gave me a better length of main supply pipe :headbange I took the opertunity to service the water cones and dress the pot tops with a few litres of light compost, iv not replaced the humidfier as the R/H is now a steady 50% without it! and the occassional foiler feed is adding the effect.

I strongly beleave the ideal method would be 'one strain' single cola's around 1 metre high, but as im waiting on clones to develope I think training a pruned plant that as a bit of stretch possible.

few pics as i rolled the room and changed a few plant positions at 5 days bloom........im expecting a few triffids :headbange

bests H&P
