I'm adding rockclimbing and surfing to the list.
Novice rock climber/ never surfed.
any good climbing in thailand or surf spots?

add thrill seeking on that list too

So Thailand Huh?

Good Plan.. Been there three times.. Every time got stone out of my mind, parasailed, rockclimbed, and met up with plenty of local girls...

I recommned Patong Beach for surfing and parasailing, Phi Phi island are a boat ride away and are the most incredible Islands I have ever seen..We even saw wild cannabis out there.. Also try check out phuket, not too far from Patong.. Pattayi was my fav spot though.. Lots of partying there thats for sure.. We smoked lots of varieties out there and If I wasnt a GI I would have brought back seeds with me... As for the Muy Thai thing..

If you have never trained in Muy Thai before then I doubt you want to go out there and just show up at a camp.. I trained for 4 years and every year our instructor Saekson takes our team to Thailand to train.. I havent gone because I work but the point im making is, be humble out there.. Dont act like a badass becuase they will put you in your place.. Try to make it to the historic Lumpini Stadium.. This is where the tru Thai champs fight.. Not sure if you have any amatuer fights but if you want to learn Muy Thai my suggesting is keep the sport pure and fight pure Muy Thai.. MMA is too watered down IMHO...

No, Im not into the rave scene really.. I was mainly set to go to Phangan cause my friend - who is now not showing - has bought a piece of land there. Now all bets are off. And, as for me - Im into the Ganja scene :joint: Chiang Mai definately sound like a place I'll consider.

My uncle owns a gym.. that is why I am so excited.. people are actually going to be letting me stay and train with them.. all I have to do is help around..
I am lucky with established resources before I even arrive..

I'm definitely sure that when I show up to train.. I am not going to find out that Muay Thai is not for me.

If you have true fighter/killer instincts...which I believe I do.. you can train confidently anywhere and not be scared to train with anyone.. and don't back down!!! like the movie.

I'll train with ANYONE in the world and not be afraid of ANYTHING

MMA/ UFC is making the biggest bucks right now..........right??

I feel you on saying how MMA is watered down...but I believe it only concerns fighters who aren't as skilled... for example all my favorite fighters such as Anderson Silva or GSP all have non stop action packed fights.

what I'm trying to say CWAY is that I am not planning to train hard JUST to fight in a watered down fight.

I'm going to give it everything I got to knock or submit the opponent.
not go on the floor and hug and roll around for rounds just to see who wins.

thanks for your other tips though

I might also go to the Cambodian boarder. I heard Poipet has the best casino there and everyone plays NO LIMIT like a mad man.

Add No Limit Texas Hold'em to that list. and if you lose... its not that much..

lived 7 months in jomtien south of pattaya and in the nana/sukhumvit area of bkk.did visa runs twice to poi pet and played the slots and won enough money to cover my visa run expenses.but all the deep poverty on the cambodia side is depressing and gave pocketfuls of 10 baht coins away to the hordes of kids that surrounded me each time i came back over the border.
was thinking of retiring or investing in condos in thailand but after living there, decided against it.too dirty and corrupt and they drive like a**holes.
saw too many bloody corpses in motorbike and car accidents there and even witnessed one motorbike slamming into another right next to me.

I am now in Nakonsawan and will get to you later

Life is great. All meals cost around $1dollar!!! the AIR is so FRESH and so CLEAN.. All foods I eat are all Organic.. No processed foods... there are no CHEM/Vapor trails in the skys... food is cooked with rain water...I drink only rain water.

Before I left I was suffering severly from allergies.. my throat fucked and every morning I'd spit out blood and my eyes would burn when I shower and wake up in the morning... after 1 day all of those symptoms disappeared!

everything is so great so cheap here.. No hamburgers! No annoying fat Americans!

I love it here and am never going back.. at least not soon.

The only things I miss is Mexican food and Trader Joe's. no one knows what a taco is...

until next time stoners... I'm in paradise! suckas!!!

yo stay safe bro in thailand. last i heard, you can check the floating markets for "tobacco" vendors who may have the hookup. you are very fortunate that you are thai, because no offense, if you were white or obviously foreign, people would be all over your grill for just about anything. it's nice to blend in... i'm vietnamese and have been to my home country twice. $1 meals are the best eh? beats nasty ass american food... if you crave american food, there are KFC's lurking around. i ate at one once and it was eerie.

right now I'm doing the Muay Thai thing and the tourist thing

the weed thing will take money, traveling, searching, and damn good notes... which cities are the best, word of mouth, or if you know/meet someone in the know

for all you folks that were "scared" about me fighting. I already have a fight scheduled for today, the 24th, and June 7th.. my first 2 fights. wish me luck..

"I hope your ribcage is strong"... lol at that comment!!

I went to Ankor Wat, 1/7 wonders of the world... It was INFUCKINGCREDIBLE.

The female thing I'm waiting to go to Bangkok where there are plenty.. or I'll just get a hooker but haven't had my timing right just yet.

wish me luck stoners!!! and suckas!!!

you can thank people like gypsy who travel to places like thailand, jamaica etc who bring seeds not native to the land and give them away to any growers they meet! of course the native growers are gonna spread their newly gotten seeds and strains around. just a matter of time before the native gene pool is no longer pure.

where there are cars the air sucks but if your in the country where there a lots of plants.. the air smells so nice

there is so much open space here you can grow on a commercial scale in lots of places with no problems.. problem about that is who would buy the stuff? You would have to figure a way to ship it to the US... maybe through Canada.. sounds like its not worth it

On another note if you want to grow on a personal scale here you can grow 100's no problem.. this would be a great place for breeding experiments where you can grow many many plants to select those ultra special ones..SELECTION is key! the more plants to select from the better

of course I was set up with an armature just like me.. you think my uncle and grandmother would let me fight someone who was way more experienced? my grandmother would faint and my uncle wouldn't want to send me back home all disfigured.

also I am willing to fight someone with more experience than me that is around 60 kilos.. I'm at 70... thats like a heavyweight around these parts! LOL!!

Thai fighters are one of the top toughest athletes.. their style is just so amazing to me. there bodies are so hard, there is no quit in them.. they are hardly scared at all... not like American boxing where there is a lot of pace.

I've sparred in boxing and did well.. then we added kicks... let me tell you ITS A WHOLE OTHER WORLD.. you some ways it would be similar but it is totally different with kicks. only problem i have with Muay Thai fighters around here is that I wish they would punch more.. its under rated here

It's been a dream of mine for some years now to travel the globe in search of rare genetics. Not to mention meeting all of the fascinating people who have cultivated these regional varieties for generations. Perhaps one day I'll see my dreams realized...

If any ICMAG stoners is willing to come to Thailand they can live with me at my family's resort.. from LA it is about 13-15 to Bangkok which I think is not that bad. Price is $1,000US round trip which is not that bad either.

I understand that some people would not make this trip but you now have the advantage of knowing me. I speak both languages and I am Thai.

It is truly paradise over here
Have a change in your life!
take a break from the fast paste of America for at least 1 month!
stock market keeps getting worst.. weird weather.. come on down!!

here are the top places in Thailand to visit in ranking order

khao yai national park #30, MekongRiver #38, Ko Phi Phi island #51, Phang Nga Bay#66,

Khao yai is probably the greatest national park in the world

Lol its a bit harder when uve gotta worry bout elbows, knees and kicks and not just punches hey!!!

Kicks score better than punches, simply because they cause more damage and are generally preffered but thais are using punches a lot more than a few years back especially with the amount of westerners both training and fighting there now, thailand has produced some world class western style boxers at the lower weights though!!

so how did u do in your fight was it 5 rounds full rules or wot !?
