C99 is a great strain. I had a nice clone of the Indica pheno but lost it due to weakness and self mistake. I didn't really get a chance to take a good clone because of no veg. I got two beans left of Cindy so I'm hoping I get a male and female so I can at least make seeds. I did manage to pollinate a bud with some DC pollen so at least I ended up with a nice hybrid.

I hear alot of talk from Cannacopia, Rezdog, and even Reeferman about Cinderella 99, yet I see no seeds!

I feel there is pent up demand for the strain and the first breeder to the finish line wins...

Should be a great project... I absolutely adore my original C99 mum... She's been around for so long with good reason... Awesome to know that more of her brothers and sisters are still being worked...

It'll be interesting to see how yours come out... I know they 'f2' with alot of the progeny duplicating the parental generation... My C99 project is a bit of a different angle, I'm taking an original C99 mum and pollenating her with line bred fathers... Cheers and good luck...

so silently yet with expectations of sugarbuds danced in our heads as we dreamed of a christmas and a shimmering mummified tree of cinderella99 stood in the corner from the floor to the roof with santa cvame back three times for the brownies we left and the reindeerr came back every night till epithany
we'll have a hell of a garden next year....

zolar say that the jungian english profs have forgotten that the ancient landrace archetype of C-99 was Homer's secret chew and created the odyessus rap....

have to start a magic beans fund....

i don't like making negative posts but this is just ridiculous

germing seeds in a pool of water is the single worst way to do it.

they may not have been... ive seen REALLY old seeds germ before and have heard of people using obscenely old seedstock (20+ year old)
yes the germ rates get lower but a few will still germ

for seed storage, i like to use screw top vials with cotton on the top and bottom. then leave em in the fridge i also try not to take them out and put them back in too often, and try to work with them in a cool area so as not to cause temp related stress to the seeds

out of forty seeds, if you cant get one to work, you messed up badly

also, doing all 40 at once makes no sense what-so-ever
if you screw up or something somehow goes wrong, then bam! youre back to page one

Hi Cannacopia, I don't advise soaking seeds in a solution with superthrive. Its very risky, as its very powerful, and can burn the crap out of the emerging roots.

Also, I find a wide bowl like that will loose temperature quicker, and you need to maintain a warm temperature for a full successful germination. Keep them in a warm place, and get them sown into your medium, as quick as possible, inside a pre-heated propagator to insure a high success rate.

Good luck

Nice project you have going here guys

just remember..seeds don't need nitrogen to germinate, they need it to grow..
