Serious Seeds Bubble Gum

Hey, all -

I got a pack of Serious Seed's Bubble Gum about 10 days ago. I put them in a vial and threw them in the refrigerator for a week, then pulled them a few days ago for germination.

I recieved 11 seeds for some reason instead of 10. After 36 hours using the wet paper towel method... 11 healthy sprouts! Very healthy and vigorous so far. Way to go Serious Seeds.

I will post pics of the grow here in about 3-1/2 months, after they finish. This strain could use a good grow report.

same here i got 11, anyway i got 7 females out of 11. They are about a wk into flowering or something and i got 4 indica pheonos and 3 sativas. They eat up alot of cal/mag.

I agree that this strain could use a good grow report. I would love to see what happens during your grow. Post up some results as you go along if possible. I will get some of those seeds also in a few months, since I am a bubblegum fan and havent grown Serious BG in years.

Considering how many packs they sell, I would think there would be lots of grow reports on this strain.

The Bubble'gum from Simon makes some serious bubble indeed... & it's also a very desired tool for private crosses! :D

btw i've grown thc bubblegum before also and got 5 females from it 5 different pheonos. Not too impress with it, got only 2 good keepers. Even tho im not finish with the harvest of the ser bubblegum, these plants have a unique sweet smell when i smell the shots so i can't wait for the outcome seems better then THC, more stable.

Okay, guys, now that I see some people are interested I will try to do a weekly post when they go into flower. I have a good camera, so I'm set.

I had a full 11 young 'uns, but like a drunken jackass I tried to pull off the clinging seed shell of one of them and *gulp* killed it. Let this be a lesson: alcohol is dangerous. So anyway, I now have 10 healthy sprouts to work with.

I'll post a veg shot in a couple weeks.

Edit: Also, as far as finding the right pheno. I usually make a point of first crossing the best male with the best female for F2s to explore later, and then I select the best two females from the initial F1 generation and reverse one of them with STS, and then cross them for femmed seeds. I prefer to work with femmed seeds; the m/f F2s are just an insurance policy in case the reversal doesn't work out.

Vash and EddieShoestring - Very nice plants. Great job.

I am hoping someone will post up some Bubblegum crosses up on Seedbay, but if not, I will get some Serious BG and work it myself over the next year. Every Bubblegum cross I have come across has be very enjoyable, and worthy of my garden.

I havnt tried THSeeds Bubblegum or White Label Double Bubble. Might have to get a pack of that also for comparison. I have some nice strains to breed the Bubblegum with, but it would be a year before I would see any results.

Wow, beautiful plants, everyone. I think we can get a pretty good Bubble Gum thread going here.

Oddly enough, the one BG sprout that I thought I killed in a drunken accident doesn't seem to want to die. I had broken the tap root in half - it was about 1" before I broke it - and I figured it was a goner for sure so I dropped it to the bottom of the tray. I looked down there last night and there it was, reaching up toward the light! Couldn't believe it could survive that; hardy little buggers. So I put it in a rapidrooter plug; maybe it'll make it after all.

BG is the shit! I had a friend that used to bust out some crazy looking Gum back in the day that was just as good as my KUSH IMO. I definately think someone needs to make some crosses asap.

Update: I got 8 females out of the 10 m/f seedlings! Sweet.

I have heard these babies are slower in veg. I sure didn't see that. Mine are all very fast growing and fairly consistent in appearance, with one being shorter and fatter than the other eight. Big fat leaves, very healthy and vigorous.

I will report back on how things go. I'm about two weeks into flower at this point.

Nice subject. I had a BG thread 6 mn back. Tried to establish the difference og the different versions of BG. Serious was my choice but i was convinced to try eno's bubble. Got the seeds and the missis cleaned the fridge - and goodbye.

Happy that i will get some new ones within reasonable time.

Lets see some more pics pls

my order is on the way now i bought 1 pack ak47,1 pack of bubblegum and 1 pack of wallyducks c99 x grapefruit.i was just thinking of some crosses to do with my bubblegum
c99,sourdog(sdxogbx), i am waiting on rez to release his c99/Apollo .to cross both to a bubblegum female .
