Cages are up & Bud shots
Cages are up & Bud shots
Good morning all,
Got up early to get work done in the room. The tomatoe cages are up on all the new plants in flower. Besides making it easier to support the big buds in bloom I'm able to tie the plants at the very base and have them grow straight.
Tomatoe cages
I spent another hour sealing the room. It's a good thing duct tape isn't very expensive.
It's now 3 days on CO2 and the plants are loving it. The bud already seem to be fattening up.
Here's some more bud shots.
The room is pretty much on cruise control now , but there's still a question I'm wondering about concerning CO2 and room temp. I've got my AC unit set to 80 degrees and I'm using 2 temperature sensors in the room. There's one sensor built into the AC remote which is the trigger for the AC. This is mounted about 4' high on the wall next to the door and I have the probe from my Radio Shack guage sitting in the base of the new plants. The AC sensor is reading 80 and the probe is reading 86-87 degrees.
It doesn't feel hot in the room the can filter with the max 10 is circulating a lot of air. My hoods are ice cold with the 8" Vortex pulling air through them. I'm going to buy a speedster and slow down the Vortex fan because I hear vibration noise outside from the Vortex. Hopefully I can slow it up 20-40% to reduce vibration and maintain cooling on the hoods.
Should I worry about the temperature in the room?
In my readings on the forum they talk about the temperature setting for a sealed CO2 room to be around 85 degrees.
Peace All, KB
