my friend if you are a scientist say so otherwise do some more reading...breeding for traits and washing out ones you dont want..yes a breeder can do this through selective breeding then he can inbreed his creation and make it stable...i dont know exactly your point to all of this...so please enlighten me...peace

If you only have one sex of a strain it doesn't matter what you outcross it with or how many times you backcross it, what you have is a hybrid of that original strain...You need two different sex parrents from the same population to make an IBL.

My point, IBL's NEVER start with an outcross....You can not make IBL's from just female clone only strains.

i got 1 nice lady out of 5 seeds, but her calyxs look different to urs ,hard to explain but mine are more pointy
shes not as photogenic as urs
i love the taste of her tho ,one of the best so far ive tried
still got the other 5 seeds, and made aload of f2s to carry on searching...

it all starts with a outcross..it all started with three...they are all muts inbred line means just that quit complicating it.if you cube something and stabilize it then inbreed that would that not be a ibl..i dont breed cannabis do you breed cannabis? if so teach me more than i know because as it stands now you are just popping shots at rez..if that is the case take it to rez not my thread...i will say sour diesel ibl has impressed me more than any other strain i have grown and i could give two shits about the three letters at the end of the strain name

again i dont fully understand the breeding of cannabis yet im not ready for serious breeding yet although i do make my own seeds with all of the strains i get...but i do know sd ibl is rocking my world you have a pile of kief after you roll a joint and i am serious...amazing herbs man...day 74

Totally amazing show
I'm almost ready to harvest my 1st grow. I'm on day 56 growing skunk #1 the buds are big and beautiful. Skunk's supposed to run for 8-10 weeks. I noticed you started flushing on day 60 with SD. How long is the SD supposed to run for? Being a newbie I'm just not sure when to start my flush.

in dwc i flush for a week or two...75 days is when it is finished i think...im letting mine go to 80..i just really flushed long on this run...peace

I'm well aware that they are all hybrids...but a true IBL isn't a hybrid of it's mother, thats just a simple fact...what you are growing is a hybrid of Sour D that wasn't even breed for all the traits of the mother....and you can think all you want my points make no difference and I'm sure your right but what breeders are doing to the collective alleles frequency of cannabis is pure recklessness at the hands of capitalism.

This will be last post in your nice thread with well grown plants, but IMO you're just as much part of the problem by putting the word IBL in the title of this thread....No IBL will ever start with an outcross, that is scientific fact and it sucks that if you go into a club to buy clones or smoke you have no idea if it's the clone only or the Hybrid that rez made.

Tell the truth, when you smoke with your freinds do you say lets smoke some Sour D or do you say lets smoke some Sour D IBL (both are wrong)
