I'm looking for this energising high you talked about, as most of "mostly sativa" (SourDiesel, Jack Herer, C99..) i've grown had still a couchlock, sometimes hidden...

The only one with full energising was my Female Seeds Neville Haze, not as good as the MNS NH from what i've read, but a smoke of this girl would make me not able to rest or relax, i needed to move and do thing... First time a weed made me do my student homework ^^

Some sativas aren't eneergising at all, you just have to kick back for awhile as they overpower your brain with mad thoughts and you won't get much productive done. Zamalhaze is like that, you're too distracted by the madness in your head to care about getting anything done.

The two energising sats I've grown recently are that Mexican and Trainwreck. My joke name for the Mexi is 'El Amphetamina' as I can't sit still after smoking some and just have to do some activity, I've known her causes energy rushes and make my legs twitch and force my feet to tap a rhythm like I have had some amphetamines, I frst noticed this 'speediness' after smoking the brick weed the seeds came from, the indoor grown Mexi buds are even more like this. The Trainwreck is different, also energising, but if you smoke a fair bit, it mashes you up, just a little TW is energising, a bit mroe and it isn't. I crossed the TW to the Mexi, some folks have some to test grow so I'm hoping they trn out pretty good. Got a load left if anyone else fancies giving them a try.

Great Luangs guys, makes me impatient to see my Thais flowering!

Love that Molo'kai, heard so many greats things about her over the years!

@BH. super good mexi. I've grown ALOT of mexis. and that is an unusual lookin one. very blocky. looks like it finished faster this time huh? might be a lil less racy and a lil more trippy this time I think you let it go a lil longer. or it just finished faster.

I've never seen any pics of a Mexican that looked like this either, which could indicate she isn't pure blooded Mexican, but hey, Salma Hayek is half Lebanese so these Latin hybrids can me most alluring! lol 13 weeks this time, 13 weeks first time, I think it was 13 weeks 3 days first run, and I was gonna let her go 14 but discovered a spot of mould so she got the chop right away. Keen to see if the high is any different this time, the menthol/pine smell is the same. This isn't a cut of the original, it IS the original, I revegged her and this is her second time flowering. She's gone now as I have loads of clones and have established a Mexi mother, at least 6 other people in the UK have this cut and one is heading to a friend in mainland Europe shortly too, so hopefully this means she will spread and will never be lost. One day I'll take a holiday that consists of travelling around all the folks who have the cut and sampling their buds from her to see how much they vary, that will be a most high time methinks!

neongreen, have to say man, that is a great grow for your first time, you're a brave man to try those sats for your first run, looks like you have green fingers my friend, looking forward to seeing your work in the future, I get the feeling a new sativa freak has joined the fold!

British Hempire - I'm sure we can find you a new Mexican suitor for that pretty lady of yours soon...:)

They say behind every good man is a better woman! As we know exactly where the H.O.G. came from and that it is authentic and superb, we don't have to doubt it's quality, but the big unknown is will it flower properly indoors? I've grown a pacific coast Mexican before that may well have been closely related to the H.O.G. as it looked like the picture in DJ's book. Even though I let them go 24 weeks, they never flowered properly, just producing thin, rubbish strips of calyxes rather than proper buds, when some folks call 'semi-veg shoots'. That Mexi of mine definitely flowers properly indoors and produced nice dense buds in 13 weeks, so she should cure any potential indoor flowering issues I reckon.

I smoked the finger hash I made from trimming the Mexican last night and ended up burning my hand and foot on the oven and ruining my Space Case pollen press in the process, so I decided I was too high to do anything and went and lay down and listened to music till 9AM, couldn't sleep due to the Mexican high. I love it but really shouldn't smoke it in the evenings!

Thanks BH :)

I was probably a bit naive back then, and didn't consider the implications of growing pure sats, so it didn't really phase me at the time! I did have a little help from George and Ed (the classic grow guides available then), but I still harvested way to early.

I'm still not sure if I'm a sativa freak, but when I start growing again, sats will be on the menu, and I'll do my best to find out :D

As it happens, I just received some new genetics (thanks again - you know who you are): Lemon Thai (Elite), Indian landrace (Hascology), and Columbian (Annac).

I'm off to look for more info on the last two which I know very little about, but if anybody has some info on the last two that they'd care to share, I'd appreciate it :)

BTW - Was in a rush earlier when I posted those pics, and didn't get a chance to say... Great pics and info everyone, especially the kiff/hash pics BH and Raco! Certainly got me drooling!!! :D

Some folks in Spain already have some Trainwreck x Mexican beans tho so I hope we might see some of those popping up in this thread later in the year.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to bonecarver_OG again.

^^^That^^ said, I must confess im a huge fan of Bonecarver´s buds & pics :D

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Raco again.

Exactly ^^same^^ words than with Bone mon´!!!

And Raco, why you think I would doubt what you say? You are one of those rare persons in these forums whose post´s never make me doubt anything else than is it possible to grow ganja like that :biglaugh:

Cool to see you guys are working with more preservation projects  I really do :respect: the input you guys from Spain give to the cannacommunity :respect:

I havent enver grown authentic Colombian, or any 50/50 crosses with Colombian, so maye you understand why I go nut´s after seeing your Colombian :D

British mate: Cool to see your work is being grown across the globe  Im sure im going like that cross if it produces the kind of bud it´s parents do...

marijuanamat: Malahazi looks a bit stressed, because I transplanted her from 2 L pot into 7 L pot just before putting her into 12/12 preparing her/myself into long flowering...... Im sure she gets her vigor back in a days, she was looking so healthy & green before the transplant! + we have to take notice that she was some months rootbounded in tiny 2 L pot and did perform very, very well!!!!!!!!!

Great to see this thread is still going from strength to strength, here's some pics of the biggest of my Thais, I think all three are female. There is another one that I think is the same pheno as this one and the third looks a bit different with smaller, broader leaves.

I love the looks ofthis one though. I've heard people talk about outdoor sativaswith leaves the size of dinnerplate, well here's an indoor plant with leaves as big as a dinner plate!

Chopped a couple of clone off her today, gonna take a few more before she starts flowering, need to reduce her height.

Brilliant stuff BH - nice to see the 'dinnerplate' unit finally being defined for leaves! Aren't they ridiculous? I'm just smoking a fattie of the Thai stick right now, so it's nice to see the girls and boys growing out at the same time! :)

Yeah, I took a load of pics of me holding various objects such as lighters and kingsize papers nmext to the leaves to try and give scale but I couldn't get a shot that really conveyed their huge size, then I remembered something someone posted once about leaves the size of dinner plates.

Check out the preflowers in the macro pic, they don't look like balls to me, but they don't have pistils sticking out either, they must be preflowers due to where they are, but it's got me stumped, fingers crossed she's female!

I'll be taking loads of cuts of this plant over the next week or two and I'll make sure they get shared around to a few folks, beautiful Thais don't come along that often so I reckon we should treasure the ones we do find.

With the work Lougrew is doing with these Thais, and some other folks will be growing some of these seeds soon too, plus whatever other work is done by those I pass the cut onto, it really makes me think we can properly preserve these genes. Let's all say thanks to EM for starting the ball rolling by collecting and sharing the seeds. The moral if the story must be, if you find an exotic and interesting variety, share it so it can be preserved for the godo of all!
