never no exactly where to make my thread.. so i figured couldnt be a better place then the tokers den.. .. now here is the question..

any one here have a easy way to turn keif into a more solid hash like form..
im just sick of having to sprinkle onto my bowls. and really want lil chunks i can just smoke...

if anyone knows a easy process to get this done.. pleasee let me kno!

Sneakin- There is a hash forum on here. If you come to the Toker's Den looking for your post, and it has disappeared, you will most likely find it has been moved there.

To answer your question, there are several ways to go about it. Basically, what you need is some warmth, and pressure to burst and bind the glands together.

Ghetto easy would be to put the trichomes in a ciggy celophane, and then put it under your heel, in your shoe. Walk around for a day, and you should have it.

Less ghetto- put almost boiling water in a wine bottle, and use it as a hot-rolling pin. Put the trichs in some florist celophane, and then roll the hot rolling pin over it. Stick it in the freezer when done, leaving the celo on. When you remove it, it will give you that shiny appearance.

You can heat it up lightly and press it by hand. I usually do it by hand if i have a large amount and if the keif is gooey, on some keif it simply turns into rocks while on others its much more pliable and moldable

Its simppple... Depending on how much has you have.

I usually empty my space case and get all the keif i can out of it. Then place all the keif in either a cellophane or a plastic bag corner and shape the keif in the form you want the hash to be. Tape it shut.

Next you want to take a piece of index card and wrap it around the cellophane and tape as well.

Now put the entire taped package underneath water for about 10 seconds or until the outer layer is wet. This will protect the contents for the next step.

One you get all your paper wet, you want to preheat you oven on the lowest setting. When the oven is ready, put the parcel into the oven for 10-15 mins and remove and press every 2-3. I usually use a pipe or a glass and roll the top of the keif until hard.

after you get it pressed how you want it. Put it in the freezer for a quick ten. remove the outter layer and your finished.

well.. i just took it out the oven.. feeling hard as a rock.. so its in the freezer till midnight my time....
hopefully all turned out well and i got some nice hash!!

glad i was able to help.... I love making that simple hash with my extra keif. If you put it on top of a bowl or roll it with a joint its nice.

I just made a load of pressed kif pieces today actually, I just press them in a little press and heat them while pressing. The darker the piece, the longer is was heated. I just sit the press on top of a radiator for a number of hours, to get the really dark, oily piece, I dropped it in a pan of boiling water for ten minutes. The thin dark piece on top is a little piece of finger hash I pressed plat with no heating.

You can press kiff carefully with your fingers, the purer the kiff is the easier it sticks together!

This kiff had some inpurities in it, but I was still able to modify it into ball with my fingers.


Same kiff, but in pressed form, not so symmetric like British has, but still quality smoke

well i had a nice lil juicy fruit style stick of hash..
but then i wanted a ball so i broke that up.. and havent been able to get it to stick again...

put your crystal in cellophane wrap it tightly and put a peice of tape on it to keep it tight , then wet a face clothe and wrap it over the peice of cellophane , next Press ur clothes iron on it for seconds at a time , i only do it a couple times , let it cool down and smoke

but the pressed chunks get you so much more blazedd. cas theres sooo much compressed in the smallest bit..
this is why i like it...
and i dont have to smoke it with weed. i can just smoke it on its own wich is nice!
