uber- yeah, from all the pics i've looked at here of nycd and sourd, it doesn't look at all like it, and you figure that's what it would be. since nyc is filled with it. the seeds i've collected though only came from this unique smelling type of weed, and all was strong, and it could be as old as 4 years, or 10-15+ years, who knows, i saved only the good ones. if any were found at all. i think over 15 years of saving, i got 18-20 or so seeds. lol. as far as the high goes, not sure what you experience, but its always hard to put in words. VERY very creeper. euphoric energy surge comes on slowly after smoking a hit or two.. room starts to change..hazey smoked filled room appearance, colors off.. floaty dreamy, can't concentrate, eyes see the room, mind is elsewhere dreaming, for a really long time. 30 mins in body will feel numb, face, cheeks, gums feel like they are 2 feet in front of your face, still dreamy up in the clouds. mind thoughts bumping all over the place. weird body sensations, tingles, pops, etc. one time i looked down and i wanted to move my arm but couldnt think which was right or left one lol (i smoked more then usual) .. and then it backs down a bit, and comes back at you just as strong like in waves over the next couple hours. hardly any paranoia, that's why i like it. just very relaxing, really day dreamy and uplifting. not only do you drift through your memories, you FEEL like you felt at that time. if you relive an experience from when you were younger, say 18 years old, you can't see or remember anything past 18 for a moment or two. really reflective weed. unlocks memories i haven't thought about in a long time. i love the buzz she gives man. smoking too much slows time for me big time, 5 minute song drags on forever, each note comes out at me w/echos (that's why i say nitrous, very similar echo like effect). each instrument can be heard by itself. just a wicked buzz. i just can't get to the happy place with the commercial stuff. this one does the trick though. it does not cripple you at all though. you can move, if you have to. but you just don't want to

pseudo- yeah i hear ya, shrooms are organic so the buzz will be different just like weed i guess. i never got headaches from cid though, maybe upset stomach which everyone blamed on the "rat poison" that was in it, which was bs. or weird metallic tastes that would drip onto the back of my tongue/throat, which was supposedly pieces of my melting gray matter. lol. i wonder if the cid is as good these days as it was back then. as long as you didn't feel like you were dying (heart attack racing), you felt way too good, it was always the two extremes for me with cid. every trip. i just gave it up, couldn't take it anymore. some herbs will give me that acid peak heart racing paranoid feeling for a short period, i had a girl once that did just that. she came from my same saved seeds too. those are the strains i do not like that much though. i prefer the stoney chill and dream buzz.

Only I have six full ones now. I started with more, but my wife and I can burn it down, in addition to some gifts to my closest friends. It is funny, in my teens and twenties, I would never have given herb away. Now I won't take a dime for it.

Nothing like the Good Ol Grateful Dead. For Christmas, i was given Truckin Up to Buffalo, a live DVD of Buffalo 89. Fabulous, plus my buddies were there.

As to the comments on taste, when i think piney, I think late 80's northern Lights. I believe that the powerful lemony cleaner smell in NYCD comes from the Jacks Cleaner in its lineage.

tnx uber, just hard to put into words, must experience it. most weeds i've smoked are similar in nature to each other, either more of that dream or more of the paranoid in the beginning, the ones that don't give the initial paranoid upward climb are the ones i would gravitate too, that feeling is pretty unpleasant to me. i know some peeps get a real kick out of that feeling, but when i feel like my heart is beating like i'm running the 100 meter, and i'm sitting down motionless, i feel like i want to puke, along with the shit thoughts that start popping in my head 'i hope my heart doesn't just rupture any minute now' really put a crapper on the whole buzz for me.

The wines almost gone dude. :friends: One case of those bottles was traded and, well, it's good LOL. I make and drink a lot of wine, so I've always got something on hand. We ever get a chance to sit down and burn one together, I'll make sure I bring you a bottle of something. I have a very eclectic taste in wine, but I only give out what I would drink myself. The rest gets sent to the crawl space untill they get better. Most do, some don't, some just take a very long time LOL. Sorry, I'm rambling.

Another reason to grow ur own stuff........I had the same happen to me off of some so called silver haze........I hate that paranoia and depression feeling u sometimes get from hazes.....I think if the haze's are chopped to early in there grow...which happens like 99.9% of the time around my way....they give that paranoia and depressing feeling like ur whole world is going to shit.....It never happens when I get the piff from nyc...just locally whenever any haze is available around me u can tell that the commercial grower doesnt give 2 shits about chopping early or final product he just cares about making the fast cheddar....No disrespect to any commercial growers that put there work in and give quality shit day in and day out.....

U have to have a lot patience with those Sativas they can go for ever......and chopping down to early isnt cool.........Best thing to do if ur not growing commercially is grow some short flowering strains so u have good bud while u wait for ur longer flowering strains....

Well, i did manage to get a couple bags of street haze but i try to avoid that because of the ripoff the bags are. The bud's great, the .7(if you're lucky!) for 20 bucks is just beat. purely beat.


dark hash - a bit messy in the hasher's methods but all in all great stuff. Soft and easily burned.




Blonde hash. Great job on this shit. a little better than the dark. A lot harder, need to take shavings of this or cut pieces. it's impossible to break small chunks off.
