This is the list of dead ones that it either ate clean down to ground level or chewed the stem all the way around.. countless others have been eaten down to the last node or it's eaten the top off the plants....

So....

I put hardware cloth up over the intake and exhaust holes....

Tossed rat poison up into the attic, since that's where I believe he was coming through.

Luckly, I had multiples of each victim, except the seedlings.. there's still 3 seedlings left but the rat took the best ones... fucker.

not nice.....glad all is not lost...

few years back i had differnt strains around 20 plants 5 of wich were wallys ducksfoot x webbed indica....every night i'd put these seedlings that were outdoor into a rabbit cage so that the rabbits and possums didnt eat them...one night i forgot and left them right were the possum hangs out at night...

the next morning i found all plants were topped from a hungry possum...exept the duck x webbed ....all plants got planted out weeks later around the property...in the end all the plants that got topped were eaten even before they got to flower ....the one female duck x webbed in the end that i harvested never got touched from any animal including a grasshopper swarm that destoyed peoples crops around the area.

too bad pests love our herbs too....pitty they cant defend them self somehow like the duck x webbed did.....HH. =]-~

Sorry to hear about the REAL rat situation. Luckily he only took a few plants, and didn't Nark on you lol.
As of this date, as far as my grows are concerned, the only pests I had to deal with(to my knowledge) were slugs/snails, deer, white flies(from soil) family members and LEO(who confiscated my male after I collected the pollen, but before I got the leaves... lol... they are good ROFL...)
I pity those that have to deal with animals that have no competing natural vegetation to feast upon. I say competing, because MJ smells and tastes wonderful, and compare that to eating moss or grass, and you have the reason why animals eat our plants.
