400 watt club...

I'd like to join the club. I just got an HTG Supply 400w HPS with a batwing reflector. Currently I'm flowering 2 Mandala Kalichakra in dwc bubblers. They've been flowering about 19 days.



They got pretty stretched under the 150w HPS when I was waiting for the 400 to arrive. But they're starting to put on some bud weight. I'm pretty sure they'll pull through, especially with the new light.

I got 400w MH and HPS lights. Also, just got a circular light mover, so I can utilize both spectrums at once. Will post some picks soon, just germinated some seeds over the weekend.

Hey you 400watters i got a question about ventilation and figured id ask the 400watters because thats what my light will be and theres no point starting up a useless thread for one question

i am investing in a 6" 449cfm vortex and plan to go with a 8 inch 850cfm odorsok. The plan is to run the vortex at 1/2 speed at 225cfm pulling through the massive 8" filter, vented hood combo.
The plan is to pull the air slowly to eliminate possible smell

I know i am going majorly overboard with this, but i want it to be efficient and in case i ever want to go bigger or in case of hot temps.

In theory, the air should just whisk through the 8" odorsok using only 225cfm of the fans speed because of area on the filter?? Is this really efficient?

When i start growing i plan on using a 400 watt CMH

Im not sure if 1 400watt with 2 x 2ft t5 flouros 24w on each side for side lighting(so 4 2ft flouros together) will do for a wardrobe of this size
71 3/4 In. high x 48 In. wide x 20 1/2 In. deep
I will be growing 4-5 plants in there, probably hydro.

If not I will have to do 2 400watts

iight 400w users, i got a quick few questions for ya. im buying a locking garage storage closet next week and i want to skip getting a 250w and go straight 400w. i already plan on using a 230cfm fan just for cooling the bulb and somewhere between 50-110cfm intake/exhaust. would that combo keep temps low enough inside a 30x20x78 or i think its 26x20x78. the plan is to use the cabinet to vegg and scrog out a killer sativa while i pump out some indicas from my 150w micro cab. thanks for the help.

Heres some of mine. Powerplant x Blueberry from seed just over 7 weeks in veg. Coco grow with Hesi nutes, molasses, and liquid kelp.

Hey People

Every ones grows are looking great..........I`ve got 3 casey jones clones, 2 bagseed that have been stressed by going back to veg 4 2 weeks to accomodate the cj, and 5 shiva shanti going 12/12 from seed.

Its a bit of a mixed bag but hopefully I will get a good variety of weed going on this year...........no pics at the moment because the camera has been mislaid (again)
