Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith
And I was 'round when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that Pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate
Pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name
But what's puzzlin' you is the nature of my game
Stuck around St. Petersburg
When I saw it was a time for a change
Killed the Tsar and his ministers
Anastasia screamed in vain
I rode a tank, held a general's rank
When the Blitzkrieg raged and the bodies stank
Pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name
Oh, yeah
Ah, what's puzzlin' you is the nature of my game
Aww, yeah
I watched with glee while your kings and queens
Fought for ten decades for the gods they made
I shouted out, "Who killed the Kennedys?"
When after all, it was you and me
Let me please introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
And I laid traps for troubadours
Who get killed before they reach Bombay

So far, your music taste has been completely in line with mine(almost like your my music doppelganger)...Going to probably catch some shit for this...but...I've never liked the Stones. There I said it!

Just had St Thomas's hospital cardiology/surgeons secretary call me to check on what's up with my labouring dodgy ticker (heart) - and I told them that I've had to up the Amlodipine to 15mg per day because my blood pressure has been gradually rising - it's as if my heart ❤️ is speaking to me - saying ' If you don't get this valve and left coronary artery by-pass fixed/done soon - I'm gonna blow!' - because the palpitations have been building and building the last few weeks - and feels like I have a very loud brass band in there - getting louder and louder as the days - weeks and months go by - yet still no firm date on this supposed open heart surgery 😢 - that I really do need ASAP - It's causing alot of anxiety - and I was diagnosed well over a year ago -

- She said that she would talk to the surgeon - and try get it expedited - the surgeon did say 2-3 months 2 months ago - so I'm trying to hold him to his word here - and hope and pray 🙏 that they get back to me ASAP with the good news that they will soon make a 20cm cut along my sternum - open me up and fix the darn thing - so that I can live on - and stop worrying about it killing me - leaving my wife and young kids without me - in this fugged up world -
Totally understand and as you know I'm totally ignorant of the British health care system. That anxiety can become a self-fulfilling nightmare because the more you worry about it, the worst your symptoms get, the worse you feel, the more you worry about it.

And that is a damn hefty dose of amlodipine. I'm on the same thing, in addition to benazepril and atenolol.

I know you love to work out and stay active, but this most certainly isn't the time to be doing that, if it's going to increase your blood pressure and/or heart rate. Try Tai chi, yoga, meditation, that sort of thing instead.

Thinking the good thought for you! Just take it a day at a time, as difficult as that is. That way you don't worry and stress the fuck out over the future. Worry about what is on your plate _today_, not tomorrow, next week, or next month.

Just like Cliff Clavin on Taxi, I could tell you more about Orange Sunshine than almost anybody else you're going to bump into on the Internet. My number one passion is developing cannabis but the second passion is the psychedelic revolution of the '60s and early '70s.

I have dove deep down into that Rabbit Hole of Internet research, more than most humans could ever imagine. Being retired, having the time to do it, and a high speed internet connection is an unbeatable combination for me.

we bought some acid once and it was wrapped in aluminum foil and had a peace sign pressed into the barrel tabs….i think they were blue barrel tabs , but not Blue Cheer acid..

the most potent psychedelic I ever took was some STP….it only came around for about two summers , 68’ and 69’…..I had 25 tabs and took a whole one my first time….peaked for 24 hours….that schitt changed my brain

Ahhh LSD ....done my share. Not any more. Looking back. Coke was the one thing I wish I never participated in. Everybody was riding that white horse.

Expensive then and the more you did the more you wanted! Crack cocaine was something as addicting as anything I have ever done!

Used to eat Orange Sunshine like candy.

Que Cliff Claven,...Sasha Shuglin, a guru chemist from Dow chemical company who had a license from the DEA to experiment with hallucinogens, taught Owsley Stanley how to manufacture DOM, which the street named STP. It is much more closely related to methamphetamine than it is to LSD, psylocybin, or any other true hallucinogenic.

And if it only took you 24 hours to peak, you were lucky. That shit lasted forever, like three or four days! Two things Owsley Stanley and Tim Scully regretted most about their work in the '60s was manufacturing DOM and setting the standard dose for 25 at 270 mics. 100 to 150 would have been much more tolerable for the vast majority of people.

Cliff takes a sip of beer...

Cannabis and LSD have always been my drugs of choice. Even though I lived in Miami in the'70s and early '80s, and it was literally everywhere and cheap as shit. It just never interested me after a day or two of using it, can't be an RRT and be sniffing and snorting snot, while you're trying to treat sick people. It was too easy for us medical people to score Escatrol and Preludin, a much more prolonged and stable buzz. It was especially nice if you have to work a 16-hour shift. ;)

And for that candy you enjoyed, you can thank Tim Scully, Nick Sand, and the Brotherhood of Eternal Love.
