Thanks big, I’m just hoping I can pull off a grow without having to fight with powdery mildew like I have for the last year. I see no reason to be having it at this point in my life but I saw one spot on a leaf last night, so when I feed the babies, I will treat them…
Brother Drift, you take care of yourself and stay on top of that blood sugar. We wouldn’t want to have your better half bring you back to the hospital now would we…😱

Boo, I enjoyed our talk yesterday. Sorry I had to cut it short but my blood sugar was 74 and dropping. But nothing a little sugary whatever won 't cure...
Morning people glad everyone weathered the storms.
Drift can I ask about your blood sugar levels? I have been checking mine after the doctor said I am boarder line diabetic . Why does yours go low? Are you a diabetic or suffer from low BS?

I have been a diabetic for over 35 years now. Insulin dependent over 20 years. I'm what's called a "brittle diabetic". Any questions just ask away...

Hey Thanks Much
I have the test strips and after eating I have gone as high as 160 after eating and drinking orange juice, then with in 2-3 hrs I can be below 100, I believe this is normal correct? I am always hungry, I crave carbs. Sometimes I am over 104 or there abouts in the morning after waking.
I am wondering now if my strips could be off, they say + or - 10 on bottle.
I feel fine and never had to eat sugar to fix anything.
The doc is trying to push me towards seeing a diabetic doc. I told him I am fine.
What do you think as far as my home readings.
My doc runs A1C tests and I am in the mid 6's, and right around the 104 range.

"Normal" is 80 to 120. I check at least 3 times a day, before I eat. I adjust my insulin from the "fasting" testing. An A1C in the mid-6's range is about right. The A1C gives you a 3 month over view. My A1C is in the 6's most of the time. Carb craving comes with the territory, sorry to be the bearer of sad tidings. An Endo (hormone Dr.) might not be a bad idea. One thing I learned early on is high BS kills you slowly, whereas low can do it quickly. Hope this helped.
FYI: I'm an older zoomie (USAF) and deal with the VA on a regular basis and have outside Doc's as well...

After suffering through a session at the gym, I ended up going out to pick up the bull, my Massey Ferguson 135 Tractor. It’s a compact little tractor that can pull a house down with the proper gear ratios. I took all my plants outside, and sprayed them for p.m. with potassium bicarbonate, and a little bit of dish soap. Now they’re back in their tent and have been fed so they should park up quite a bit tomorrow… I saw two leaves out of the seven plants with a spot of white fuzz on them and that’s all I needed to see to take them out and hose them down …I stopped by a smoke shop today to get myself a basic bong. I walked by all the high dollar bongs and grab myself a nice utility bong for 80 bucks. They give away complementary shots of THC slushy‘s. I got a couple mango slushy‘s in me and feeling quite good. Tonight‘s fair is reheated spaghetti and meatballs. Smothered with mozzarella cheese. Sketti and meatballs always taste better the next day…

Thank You very much appreciate the time you took to reply.
I see My doc in a week and they are doing a full blood work up again .
I am sure it will be above normal due to the Holidays and all the crap my family filled my stockings with. I cannot kick this sweet tooth or kick eating bread.

Type 1 diabetic for 13 years here. I would recommend the tandem insulin pump and Dexcom sensor they work together and the pump uses ai, it will adjust your basal. My a1c is 5.7 but I eat very healthy and exercise daily.
Nice grow boo, I love those staghorn ferns too.

We get pm on everything except the cannabis here so I am super curious if its the genetics or the environment on the g units.
I’m going to upsize the pots on the G13 x butterscotch haze in the next few days and then after they get settled, I will put them in flower and see what happens… one of those beans grew 4 inches overnight. I’m amazed at the vigor of the beans that I have popped recently.

I used to be a consummate collector of old things that were mechanical. I have thinned down the collection quite a bit, but there’s still a massive amount of toys sitting around… I had a love affair with red tractors for many years

Love the McCormick Farmall always wanted one they are a cultivating machine still used here in NJ ( and all over ) to grow them Jersy tomatoes. I have a old 1969 International with a loader. My neighbor has a Farmall with my name on it just needs a little work and maybe a candy coat

The problem I have with the old Farmall’s is that they didn’t have the Ferguson hitch that all modern tractors now use. The Massey Ferguson is a 1968 model and it has all the hydraulics that a modern tractor has but it’s not hydrostatic like my new holland…
I used to be a jersey boy many years ago, whereabouts do you hail from…😎
