mornin campers...another record setting day for heat,hooray!!should be cooling off next week...so only still too goddam hot instead of why god,why?

more like a convection oven...next week is looking better,still not great but only around 90 for highs...at least it's dry...
off to the store in a minute...then back for garden chores,should be simple,just more rooted cuts to get into cups...at least once it cools off i'll have plenty of plants to fill spaces...

true story,desert horses have no names...
one more veg chore to go...got another tray of rooted cuts into cups...out of 50 cuttings 45 rooted,but tossed some due to gankiness...still have more than enough...still frickin hot today

They got walloped in Morocco …now they’re saying more than 2000 people dead by earthquake …that’s quite a bit..Must be really frightening if you think about it to feel the Earth move like that to like & be in the middle of it all..

many...6.0 was the biggest...
imagine being on top of this boardwalk when a 6.0 hits...swayed alarmingly...i was standing under racks of wine glasses trying to keep them all from crashing to the floor...the funny thing is 10 minutes after it was over CNN called our unlisted phone number and asked about the quake...then the tsunami warning came...it was just a little two foot high swell that passed through...but still,on an island and tsunami warning is not a good combo...
that was just one quake i've been through....happened a bunch in AK

it's damn near level at high tide, i bet.
and that's not even as low as the tide goes...
the restaurant (the building with the steeply pitched roof) is actually a houseboat,they floated it in on the max high tide to the pre-constructed cribbing that holds it up
