I went by my local grow and seedpusher ( Smokeshop DK) to order some Perlite, fem Cheese and some regular Malawi from Aceseeds @dubi for future breeding projects.
And he trew in some nice freebies ( more Ydrassil and Gungner from Northern Seeds, bred in DK a few yearsback) and some Seedsman freebies also
Including another try at Peyote Zkittles

Im in serious need of cash so the 10 AK47 are going in 12/12 in a combination of outdoor and growtent depending on the weather in 2-3 weeks.
My growtent is around 10 meters from my current outdoor spot so i can use a combination of natural sunlight, and growtent for the clouded days, and save some money on the electricity bill 😉

The rest are going to be left outside and later in a coming Diy greenhouse for cuttings and flower outside, although i might have to finish the most exotic of them inside
Time will tell.

Ofcourse the Leb27, Royal Dane and Guerilla Gold 3 are going into separate cornfields later for seedrun and crossed when the last pestice sprays are done
Usually mid/end June here.

How do you know where they spray pesticides? Late june is pretty late, the corn should be pretty big then!? How big is the corn now in Denmark?

I think in my region here in west-germany there is not much spraying... never seen something and my cannabis plants were never killed. :)

i havent found any cornfields in my new area yet, so its hard to say how big they are.
cattle feed corn are getting more rare as many cattle farmers have gone out of business.
in my new area they mostly grow beets but i know theres suppose to be a few cattle feed cornfields here also, i just have to find them.
but dont forget that in the meantime the plants are growing in my yard so they will also be big when transplanted
i dont know the precise date they spray the last time but theres a description somewhere, cant find it right now, on how the plants look when they spray the last time.
many say in strat to mid June, but ive once lost a crop to late pestice spray, so ill rather wait a little more to be sure.
As long as they can still be grown at home in 3,5 liter square pots i have enough pots to keep them at home until transplant
i will try later to find an old picture of pestice hit cannabis.
its not a pretty sight :(

in this old picture from 26/6 2009 ( i lost most the originals pictures from back then so this is a still picture screenshot from my youtube canal) you can se the size of plants versus corn in late June.
a little less than knee high ( im a big guy at almost 2 meters)
clba 1.jpg

theres a few more shoots of cannabis before and in the corn in this video

here u can see pestice hit cannabis
theres also more pictures of cannabis in corn and pictures of them being grown in a diy greenhouse before going in corn and many other pictures from back then.

Ive been out driving, looking for spot for guerrilla growing most of the day.
This southern part of the country mostly has beets and very few cornfields.
Most of the smaller forrest spots are infested with hunters so its not easy.

Found a cornfield, although very small.
On the positive side it seems its grown for the wildlife and dears, that means its not being harvested early, but left for the animals.
But again, very small.
This also answers the questions from those asking how tall the corn are currently in Denmark.
Anywhere from 2 to 10 cm

I also found 2 or 3 suiting forrest spots but didnt take any photos beside gps screenshots i for security reasons wont post here 😉

Thanks for sharing! Interesting topic for sure and nice selection of strains you are growing. Im growing outdoors at 62N Finland. What you said about finding spots is not so easy i have the same feeling even this whole country is like a neverending forest(except the very south part).

My first grow related Youtube video in 13 years or so.
it also includes a little update on the plants and a quick strain list etc.

Farmers can spray crops very late with tall agricultural tires and special tractors. Sometimes aerial fungide application is done with airplanes, but thats not usually the case. Just be aware.

I like the edge of the field where the light is good. Just find some plant indicators showing good light, and cut out the brush in the way.

Look for south or east facing woods lines. The edge is where people go though, so have it back a ways and behind visual block thick brush/small trees.

In this video at 3:25 you can se me transplant into corn at night at late June.

I might have done all the fields over several days.
But a little later you can se pestice killed plants.
They where of course killed before the picture date, but later than the transplant, so around end of June.
So thats why i wait and dont transplant until end og June.
Its many years ago but i remember those nights is was driving around with some pretty big plants already in the car.
I would have had some explaining to do if pulled over by cops 🤣

Those look like they did pretty well in the corn! My friend who farms by my family's dairy farm had a couple in his field . One was a big 6-7 footer with branches all the way down. Lots of light! It was his field though, he had it timed just right.

Thats why you want the auto's, you have a short season there, but there is great opportunity! :smoke:

Look into Texada Timewarp by BC Bud Depot its a fast finishing sativa done by late Sept. I think they said 6 weeks. I guess you need strains that can compete with the corn, do autos do alright or does it have to be an early finishing regular photoperiod plant?

This is a cup winner by the way.

Lots of good info in this forum. Check out the Strains and breeding section

Mossy a former member on here had this one a long time ago and I grew a few. Very small purple plants. Crazy x posted it recently!

The autos i tried in the corn always stayed dwarfs... but i didn't used 18h strong lights to get them ready for outdoor-transplant, i always get my plants outdoor ready with sunlight from my windows because that's just a benefit of outdoor-growing to save energy... besides the good vibes spiritual side of mother nature of course. 🌞 :rasta: Always consider that the corn is growing too, so imho autos are not the best choice, they can do better if you can start them right in the ground or big pots.

Autos might do the trick but i still have a lot to learn about them and its only a few of them that can compete with the corn in size unless i make an entire empty spot inside the corn to grow them.
my aim is to remove 3-4 corn and insert one plant, then no change for 8-10 corn, then insert another cannabis etc so hopefully the farmer doesnt notice it when harvesting.
in my garden im doing many different strains and hybrids and im letting an auto cheese pollinate them all.
in this way i have many different crosses and from what ive understand crossing an auto with an non auto only makes a few of the offspring autos also.
most of them suppose to be fast
and or early flowerings.
thats why i choose an auto as my main breeding male in my own garden.
to observe, eksperiment and learn

ive heard the name before and it sounds interesting.
ill definatly look into it.
im generally very interested in natural semi autoflowers.
Especially the canadians have many good early semi autoflowering genetics
ive just grabbed a pack of Mighty Mite on Seedheaven for the very same reason
and for the same reason im running a seedrun of Guerilla Gold 3 this season

Yes, autos have gotten a lot better the last 10-15 years but still some of them are not able to compete with corn in size despite potency generally have gotten a lot better on the autos.
its all about finding the right genetics for the task which isnt always easy

when this season is over i hope my financial situation is better ( currently i just purchased an old house on the countryside and i havent sold my old property yet so im running double expenses. and ive purchased a lot of growing gear and seeds using credit card, so this season just better be good, and my old property sold very soon or im screwed later).
If all goes well my plans are to purchase a larger polydome greenhouse with twin layers insulated plastic wall panels and then put a fireplace oven in the middle.
that way i should be able to test grow some autos during winter times on top of getting a longer growing season in both Spring and Fall.
Autos might do the trick also but it needs a vigorous growth in order to compete with the corn but other places than in cornfields i think they sure has a place and ive been told be my local seed pusher that currently many Danes have moved from traditionally early danish landraces to autos.
One reason is that potency of auto has gotten much better lately, but also because many new growers to day doesn't have the patience to learn the fine art of growing but just expects that everything takes care of itself and yield top result with a minimum of effort.

You seem to run with some financial risk in your projects. That' s good it reminds me about myself when i was younger :D

Your idea of greenhouse is good that way you can really have longer season. If your fireplace releases the heat slowly it's perfect for the cold spring and fall nights.

Autos for sure have their good sides but so do earlys. It's just great to see big and healthy early plants with good harvest. Autos are good choice for pretty sure harvest for any kind of summer but are somewhat boring and degenerated at least for my opinion. When i started growing od it was mostly early(danish and canadian genetics) and not much autos and it might affect in my opinion.

Will be watching this topic closely. You have nice plans and strains. lat 54 is not so far from lat 62. So if you manage to make some seeds im interested. Did grow years danish earlys and with some selection they are good to use for crosses here.
