I sling packs of 100 seed for $200 when I have remnant seed. I don't do anymore fancy boy packs with new age artwork and all that. Ziplocks and sharpies yo. And the days of using glorified middlemen to do that are long gone.
Hey Tom,

Count me in whenever it's ready.
I wanna find that 5% myself.

Can only sift through 25 at a time, but few cycles and I'll find my keepers.

Thanks for keeping your favorites alive, wish others have done the same as we'd have a more diverse ceiling.

I'll pm you.

...those that know this line best should share their knowledge .. any help in separating the wheat from the chaff would be good no ?
What I picked up from Tom throughout this thread:
- Early and pronounced resin on stems/leaves
- Highest resin density/coverage on flowers
- Big trich heads
- no purple

I’m sure I missed some other hints along the way…

Peace

Don't know anything about breeding, but is it impossible for Tom to select the best female 5%'er and best 5%'er male and breed them, offspring would be fire F1, no? After that the odds are more in 80-90% chance to strike gold.. ???

My understanding of Tom Hill’s choices regarding seed production generally is to include everything he has. I’m sure he has selected certain progeny for small breeding projects in the past but he’s mentioned getting long in the tooth (my words) I think you’ve gotta read ALL of it for context and a lot is between the lines (IMHO)

He’s a survivor and certainly that is not to take away from any others contributions. I find his directness refreshing as fuck. If I don’t like something I change the channel…..

Honestly, my guess is he’s only interested in preserving the long term diversity of what he has in his possession. I find his overall perspective on breeding is fact based and realistic. The more I read, the more respect I have for his efforts.

He’s posted eloquently and simply that the truth is you cannot play God when it comes to growing/breeding cannabis. There’s an element of the eternal involved (my words again) and preserving it as diverse as possible is the best you can hope for.

I’ve said here before I find it hard to grow 6 quality plants never mind doing an open pollination of all the seed he has in his possession. I’ve tried to follow this latest seed run and can only say IMHO it takes a lot more than money to persevere in such an endeavor under ideal conditions. Throw in weather, power losses, frozen irrigation lines etc, and you’ve gotta be strong as fuck to finish the job.

Again, just like my opinion man….

Many do not want to hear or know the truth. That has been repeated over and over again by woke people here. SM and the internet have only facilitated this dumb awareness. Talk becomes real, instead of the other way around. The opposite of what it was before, where people spoke, and validated what they said to be true. Proof is not important.

And, yes, best to fly low , get high. Easy to get tossed from here. My brother frequents this place, as does my cousin in Italy. They know several friends that received their marching orders, with those guarding the missing eggs chicken house creating stories to help facilitate thier expedited removal. Interesting to see a structure where those that are issuing tickets, are the same as those setting fines, and lifetime prison terms. Word to the wise: Be careful here. The only right side is to fly under the radar. Some truly large ego's here. Totally avoid conflicts with those grim monsters.

Tom still cannot receive messages. I tried again today. When he is allowed to that is when we knows he has been released from solitary confinement by those possessing the keys. Trying to ensure to dodge that fate. I ditto everything you said, in fact, have somone that knows him personally, confirm, what we both stated and surmised.

I like Tom's openness about his breeding and chances of finding the 5%. He comes out great on the podcast I listened to. I'm sure I would get on with him in real life.

What I can't understand is the outrage over his banning. He came on here and abused the site owner on several occasions. In the 15 years I've been on this site I have not seen anyone else get away with this to the extent Tom did. What did he expect? OG or not, you should treat others with respect.

Respect is something that is earned. I do not automatically respect someone. I am neutral. And, if someone has a history with someone else that I am not aware of, I do not pretend that I do. I stay away from fist fights and sand throwing altogether, but do understand that where money is involved, that resentments or bitterness can run deep. I earnestly try not to judge anyone, and to stay away from those that I see do. That commandment works well for me.

I've still got those THH seeds my buddy gave me. I'm pretty sure I posted some pics of her years back in this forum. I really need to run a few and try to find a good keeper. It's kinda hard to run 70-80 day flowering plants with like I think that TH I ran was over 120 days or so I wanna say. It's really something you need to keep separate anyway. I love watching them strong sativas flower

well for the average joe its a very big undertaking,.. growing out 100+ seeds then taking and keeping alive 50/60 cuttings ..then storing and testing 50/60 samples...some guidance on what to look for would be good for the community ,... tom can select purely by terp profile,... ,...lets share some of that knowledge
He stated what to look for in those potent phenos, in his podcast.
