In my opinion, it is primarily about the smell, then the taste and optics, after that comes the high for me, but everyone sees it differently
Yeah Eixample is a fancy area, lots of nice Restaurants, but good connection with Metro too. Just stay away from Raval area. Better check Sant Antoni which is close by.
There are plenty good steakhouses, just avoid any Restaurant on the Main Ramblas, or where a Waiter is trying to get you to eat. Last time when AceHaze was here to visit me, we went to Tierra del Fuego and slammed a 1.6kg Chuleton
For all seafood lovers i can recommend Chao Pescao, you pick your fresh fish or seafood, pay by weight, and they prepare it the way you want, fried, grilled, steamed.

Only order what you can get through.
Some of us smoke/vape/dab all day long, switching from elite strain to 5star hash.
The best clearly stands out.
I usually put them out in a bigLine, then go by looks , smells then onto the smoke.
The hardest thing is taking your notes as so much banter and good fun is taking place.
Let's hope for a mega crazy one ,. Cause I'm down for whatever. As they say...

For rating. You judge appearance, taste, bouquet, potency/high, overall and can make comments if necessary.
but if i'm honest i have to say that as a smoker, especially if someone uses plus tobacco, you can't really judge the taste or smell.
I also smoked my spliffs with tobacco forever and the sense of smell and taste underneath was really lousy. Which of course you only notice when you stop smoking. What more smells and tastes you suddenly perceive when you stop smoking, especially tobacco, is unbelievable.
I haven't smoked for 5 years now and only vape flower and that's optimal for the score and the only thing that is genuine.
Not to mention it's also best for tolerance if it wasn't for the edibles, lol. But definitely for the respiratory tract and the sense of taste and smell!
I got a Dynavap and a Crafty for traveling but i dont like there sucking resistance and hope we can use a Volcano vaporizer with balloons at the location.
As a non-smoker, I can't even smell a different smell in a room where someone is smoking, and I quickly develop an asthmatic cough. Then I can no longer judge.
So at the last icmag 420cup I was I judged every sample in our apartment because all the damn smoke was in the locations and I was just developing my asthma at the time. So no, I really don't think a smoker is really the best judge.
In my opinion, the only fire you need for the best job as a judge is the white ash test. But for that I'll look at your spliffs and try not to cough all the time lol.
And now hit me for my merciless honesty.

people’s perception is different,,,,
flowers I gave top marks that I loved didnt make the top three but we usually get it right when we have full attendance and usual transparency but don’t include me,,,,,
I stopped smoking nicotine a while back but use it for spliffs albeit a little ,,my organic always beasts the horrible nicotine taste but I may swop to a vape cos I dislike the nicotine immensely,,,
smoking pure joints is a false economy and bloody expensive if ya want a big fat spliff,imho,,,,,

Hey brother i'm not saying that a judge who smokes is useless. After all, most people smoke their stuff and the smoked taste is probably what counts the most. And no matter how someone rates their stuff, the main thing is that we all get together again and have a good time together.

vapourising a small chunk of the entries (0.15) gives a good almost immediate indication of head effect in my experience ✌
All you are going to get are the terps, and that may what differentiates anyways. Not a very long buzz, so move onto the next one. Might work.
But for getting high, a joint or bowl will get the oils released also, and the buzz will be way different. And longer lasting. So there is no comparison between a joint of one and a vape hit of another. I like to fill my Hybrid chamber full with about a joint worth of dope, heat it 15 seconds, and take one hit with the whip using the fan to push the vapors. A joint worth of terps in one hit. Super rush, but short lived. A joint of the same dope is a lot more effectful, and way longer lasting. Harder on the lungs too.

agreed, but temp stepping with the small chunk you get most of the oils out imo and then the rest of the bud (that you dont put in the vape) gets rolled up pure for a broader perspective on judging points. best of both worlds i think!
