here is my attempt to make a cob. the plant material was in 75% moisture stage. it's a 42gr piece of lower buds. first i rolled them in a sushi mat and then i wrapped this stick inside of parchment paper. to make it very tight i used a cord which i rolled around the cob about three times. now it was ready to vacuum but i left some air space in the bag. it is sweated for 24 hours in 40c temp. it went how i expected so a few bubbles did appear. i opened the bag and cleaned stuff and put the cob back in and next i did vacuum it very tight. now it's fermenting in about 30c degrees for 7 days atleast. strain is amnesia core cut. i don't expect anything of it so it must surprise me.

I forgot to put my latest Cobb here. It is my Golden Tiger that I harvested last week. The buds had dried 2 days when I made the cobb. I let it sweat for 36 hours. It permeated the room it was sweating in even in the bag and under a dome. When I opened it the smell was intense and wonderful.

First pic is after the sweat.

Just received the sous vide on the doorstep. Will have to wait until next years OD harvest to give it a fair shot. :shucks:

But, have some mango haze and purple Zamal x New Malawi killer which was vac packed pretty wet I’ll experiment with. If nothing else it should smooth out the smoke and maybe allow for a decent chew.

If it was vacced up pretty moist and it's been kept somewhere not too cold it may well already be fermenting, albeit very slowly. When you open the bag, have a good sniff. Does it smell different? a special something else to the smell?, if so then it's already fermenting.

I had it happen with weed that we thought was dry enough to be vacced for long term storage. It was kept at room temp in the dark for a year and fermented nicely.

They've been dried up and resealed and will now sit for at least another week before I check again.

I thought you knew me by now ha ha Its all in the lap of the Gods until its ready to chew ha ha.
I'm always trying new ways to get the old cures I saw in my youth so its not always a given ha ha.

Here's some of the current grow at 6 weeks flowering at least 6 still to go.
Santa Marta Gold x Demon Latcher.
South American x Mexican smells amazing and good resin early.
