Large scale cannabis grinder suggestions

Hi, anyone any suggestions on what can be used as a large scale cannabis grinder? It needs to be able to process a lot more material then for example a coffee grinder can.

Would an old school table top meat grinder work?

Asking for a friend.

Thanks

Yes and no on the blender. I'm looking for a large capacity grinder to grind my material before it goes into a kief tumbler drum.

Also search for nut grinders.

My ninja blender is weak at chopping real fruit but good at weed. My unit is the one you put a motor on top of container.

The meat grinder will jam.

@Legalcdn For a nut grinder, you mean such a style of machine? Would this work and not jam like a meat grinder?

That's what I thought but it seems like they are actually used to process hash even. o_O

At about 1min...

They also sell machines purpose built for the job but prices are in the thousands. If it's real large scale production I suppose it won't take ages to recoup the investment. Futurola Super Shredder, STM Revolution 2.0...

I have seen those Futurola machines but they're way to large scale for me.

Just placed an order for the above machine. Will post here how it works in a week or two when I have the machine and the next batch is dry enough to run it.

Sounds good! Any chance there is a bigger version of that with a motor to run it?

There sure do exist bigger motorised machines. Here's an example. But I think you better have a look around yourself to find a machine that suits your needs. Google for 'rotary grater' or 'rotary slicer' and you'll find many examples.

I'm not sure if this one won't sqeeze the weed to much. It works like an extruder.

They are not easy to find but sometimes u can get a tobacco cutting machine for homeuse.
Tobacco cutter But i never used one so maybe they sqeeze also to much.

The nutgrinder looks fine. Maybe get one with a barrel where the cutting holes are not covered just sharpend holes.

Thank you, yes, actually, the name of the machine was what I was after! I will wait for you to share your findings on your manual machine you ordered, then look for one as well.
I never liked to use anything that spins real fast, like a coffee grinder or blender. It beats the shit out of the pot and smashes all the trichs.

I used a Salad Shooter and it worked GREAT. Check out my video....

Wow, grind on that looks about perfect for rolling.

I saw those grain grinders but I'm afraid that it would grind it to fine and squish it in the process between those 2 discs. What I need is to have the material coarsely loosened so it can be run afterwards in my kief tumbler.

Those grain ginders are unique in that you can control how course or fine your product is. you can go from all jagged crumbles to all flour if you like.
