Yo folks,

To cut a long-tale short,, we grew this strain some years back,,, enjoy it so much we always wanna go back and give it another growing.

A combination of fate and being in the right place at the right time ment we were able to barter a few seed packs of Stonehedge,, longside some others from Sagarmatha,, courtesy of Tony the lion (many thanks).

Stonehedge is one of my all time favourite plants,, so I n I plan to lay it down str8 here, and watch-look-see how dem grow. :canabis:

Peace

To cut another long story short... this is the clone of a plant that was topped... the plant was donated away.. the clone stayed in veg... then the clone was topped... placed outdoor under glass,,, it started to flower. :D

First thing you look at in any plant are the leafs,, too many people be a busy catching flowers dem missing all that they can see. This Stonehedge makes some nice leaf.

The edges of the leaf-blades on this plant are almost alien. Check it!

Peace

My first experience with Sag genetics was with Caramella, the tastiest herb I have ever smoked and a real pleasure to grow. I just ordered a pack of Stonehedge--so count me in as a very interested observer!

You probably mixed up Sagarmatha with Homegrown Fantaseeds. HF has a strain called Caramella, Saga don't.
But that's no reason not to grow Stonehedge. DocLeaf has been praising this strain for a while, it has aroused my curiosity.

Have you got any more info on the strain lineage DL? I noticed that the strain description says Indica/Sativa, but as far as I know, Stonehedge is a cross between a Cambodian Sativa and Sagarmatha's Western Winds. Western Winds is described by many growers as identical with the pre -98 Kali Mist (Tony and Simon used the same seedstock to create the respective strains), which is more Sativa than today's Kali Mist. So, even if there's a dash of Indica in it - with such a dominating Sativa lineage - it shouldn't be enough to define it as a Indica/Sativa.

As far as I n I understand it:

Stonehedge = Cambodian x Western Winds.

The Cambodian was an indica dom. plant grown in Nebraska. The Western Winds is the same plant as Kali Mist - the same famous sativa,, carried by both Serious and Sagarmatha - also grown in Nebraska.

First time we smoked it at the Grey Area we thought it was an indica,, had a harsh hash vibe to it,, did some research and discovered the lineage. The structure could be described as indica over sativa,, since these plants don't grow that high. It's worth noting is that it is advised to top this strain to produce x2 main colas for a better yield. Grown out as standards it produces a small plant overall. It would be interesting to see how it would handle scrog methods and str8 sog.

I n I also rate the yumbolt!

I know HGF carries the beans (and will spring for some next time they appear on Seedbay), but I've read that Caramella was bred by Sag. I might be mistaken, but in any case I don't want to hijack Doc's thread, so--back to Stonehedge.

It went out a few weeks back,, and then started to flower.

24 hrs light? :chin:
Plants NEVER get 24 hours light these sides dude!!
Roots need time to grow,,, in the dark
Before this it was at 16/8,, or there abouts.

Whose counting??? ...lol
